I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the distinguished sisters of the noble vanguard who participated in the inaugural meeting, held on August 10th, 2025, both in-person and online. This event was indeed remarkable and epoch-making, and I pray it marks the beginning of more blessings to come, in Jesus Christ's name, amen. 🙏

Uvwie Ladies Vanguard was founded 1980 as a community based Association in Uvwie local Government registered by the Delta State Government.
1.The primary aims were to promote the dignity of the "Girl child" in Uvwie local Government .
2. To sensitize the Youths, both boys and girls on the importance of formal education .
3. To organize various empowerment programs for the youths, girls and boys
4. To promote love, peace and unity among all members of the Association and the good of Uvwie Kingdom.
MEMBERSHIP: The Association is open to all Uvwie daughters and wives.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
The building of a primary school , Uvwie Ladies Vanguard Primary School at Asheshe layout off Jakpa road, by self efforts and handed over to Delta State.2001.
2.Organised various vocational training in tailoring, catering and computer programming
3. Participated in community social services. and activities . Donation of buckets and cleaning agents to some hospitals during the Covid- 19 epidemic in Uvwie local Government.
4. Awarded scholarship and trophy, books and other learning materials to Uvwie Ladies Vanguard Primary School.
