Message: Potency, Power & Prayer

Prayer does not do everything. It is a major key; it is not the only key.
Jesus' career drew a lot with prayer.
Prayer is God's authorized system of communion with God.

The church is prayer sustained. When we struggle with prayer, something is wrong with the DNA of the church. Isaiah 66:8

Definition of Travail: Labouring in prayer till something is activated. Persistence with holy spirit-driven intercession.
Travail on Greek word means "Odino"
Galatians 4:19, Luke 18:1, Proverbs 24:10
We must build capacity and strength.

A powerful way to drive distraction is to pray.
--Apostle Joshua Selman. Prayer is a survival mode. It has benefits.

We must discipline our spirit to yield in prayers. " There is a massive result when we have prayers of agreement as a couple. Praying as a couple gives intimacy and solution.

THREE MARKS OF A TRAVELING PRAYER
1. PREVAILING: Nehemiah 1:4: . Something happens for other things to occur or prevail.

2. PERSISTENCE: Mark 5:25-34

3. SPIRIT LEAD: Romans 8:26.

POTENCY OF TRAVEILING PRAYER
1. It moves God's hands Exodus 32:14
2. It births destinies. 1Samule 1:10
3. It releases the anointing that breaks chains

WHAT PRAYER DOES
1. Prayer sh*ts atmosphere. Acts 12:5
2. Prayer accesses heaven's resources. Mark 7:7, 1John 5: 14-15

HOW DO WE ENTER TRAVEL
1. Get the burden: Wait on God. Psalm 62:1
2. Separate yourself: let your spirit be quieted and let your gaze be focused on God.
3. Yield to the spirit: pray in tongues. Romans 8:26, 1Corinthians 14:2, Galatians 6:9. Add fasting.

Family is an intercession of everything we find ourselves to do.

Question: Why do matured Christian brothers find it difficult to get married even in their 30's.
Answer: Until you are convinced within you that you are ready to get married, it will be difficult for you to get married. Conviction gives you the zeal to get married.
Another factor that keeps men from getting married is FEAR.

Question: Does Genotype a factor that stops two lovers from getting married.
Answers: Genotype plays a vital role in couple who intend to get married. If your Genotype is not a match, do not go ahead. Apart from Genotype, seek counsel before you become too emotionally attached with your partner.

Question: what quality and character trait should a man possess to be a good husband

Answer: when you are in a relationship, planning to get married, you should watch out for signals/red flags. When you are dating a person, you should look out for what you like.

Question: How do you handle the situation where your wife earns more than you.

Answer: Truthful communication is very important, it will help you fight intimidation. Tell your wife what you have and share your vision.

Question: In case where the woman is providing for the man and the man is not yet reciprocated, for how long should the woman wait.

Answer: Make sure you are aligning to your goals, make sure you are making progress each day, whatever you can provide, make sure you do so. Check character flaws during relationships.

Question: As a man how do you handle too many bills for the bride price and your wife wishes to support.

Answer: Your wife should intervene and plead with the parents to reduce the list. If God spoke to her to support, she can go ahead without making it too visible.

Welcome to the month of June, our month of ANSWERED PRAYERS & PRAYER POWER*

In this month, we walk in power, glory & dominion.

I refuse to live beneath my divine identity. I rise above fear, defeat, oppression, and limitation in the mighty name of Jesus.

I declare that I walk in dominion over sin, sickness, failure, discouragement, and every work of darkness. By the authority given to me in Christ.

I reign in life and nothing shall have power over me.

The glory of God rests upon my life. Everywhere I go, I carry His presence, His favor, and His light. Men shall see the goodness of God in me and be drawn to Christ through my life.

I am empowered by the Holy Spirit to do great exploits. I receive strength for every assignment, wisdom for every decision, and grace for every challenge. I shall not be weak, confused, or defeated.

I declare that every chain limiting my progress is broken. Every closed door is opened. Every mountain before me becomes a plain by the power of God.

I walk in spiritual authority. I overcome every attack of the enemy, every voice of discouragement, and every strategy of darkness. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

The power of God works mightily in my family, my health, my career, my ministry, and my destiny. What is impossible with men becomes possible in my life through God’s power.

I declare that I am a carrier of God’s glory. My words carry life, my hands are blessed, and my steps are ordered by the Lord. I shall shine in my generation as a light for Christ.
