Ideals and Realities Youth Empowerment Foundation -IRYEF is a non-governmental organization established with the purpose to Rebuilding, Restoring and Enhancing the lives of teens and Young Adults facing life challenges, and to provide the life management skills/self development tools, that so many of the young people lack. It is conceived as a genuine intervention to address the myriads of these
challenges. Therefore we are passionately dedicated to assisting young people to express and achieve their highest potentials in idea building, education advancement and wholesome human development. We are committed to engaging, involving and advocating for young people in the community we serve. As a panacea we are continuously developing programmes through research, seminars/workshops to prepare youth for leadership, entrepreneurship, sound decision making, goal setting, etc. Our focus is to mobilize an army of young people committed to stop the perpetual destructive behavior of teens and young adults. The results will be an emerging generation of leaders prepared for positive global impact in Education, Health, Leadership and Entrepreneurship etc. Although founded in 2012, it became formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in March, 2015.
