Speaker: Dr. Engr. Ifeanyi Ojoh, MCIPS, MSc, DBA, founder; Ekwukwo Foundation represented by Engr. Amaliri G. Ugochukwu, B.Engr(Hons), MNSE., Executive Director, SEPHILL Agrotech, CEO, Amacorte Industries Ltd
Eng. Ugo Amaliri began his speech by sharing insights into his dream and vision of having students take over the mantle of learning from one generation to another and expressed gratitude about its continuation. He expressed saddened heart over the lack of key subject teachers in our schools particularly, his Alma mata; Ebedei Secondary School, Ebedei while noting concerns on the concrete foundation of education which is drawn from learning and knowledge gained through teaching. Afterwards, his speech was read as stated below;
Eng. Ify expressed that education reforms must be inclusive and equitable. No child should be denied education because of poverty, disability, conflict, or gender. When one community is left behind, global progress is incomplete. True solidarity demands that we lift one another, not selectively, but collectively.
Furthermore, the digital age presents both a challenge and an opportunity. Technology has the power to connect classrooms across continents, to bring global knowledge into local spaces, and to turn villages into innovation hubs. But without deliberate reform, the digital divide may widen existing inequalities. Therefore, education reforms must prioritize digital access, teacher training, and modern learning tools, especially in underserved communities.
Global solidarity is not charity; it is partnership. Wealthier nations, institutions, and private sectors must move beyond aid and embrace collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and sustainable investment in education. At the same time, local governments and community leaders must take ownership—ensuring accountability, relevance, and cultural integration in education policies.
Ladies and gentlemen, when we invest in education, we are not just building schools—we are building peace. We are not just training workers—we are shaping leaders. We are not just impacting individuals—we are transforming communities and strengthening the very fabric of humanity.
Let us imagine a world where every child is educated to think globally and act locally. A world where communities are equipped to solve their own problems and contribute meaningfully to global progress. A world where education is not a privilege for the few, but a right and a tool for all.
That world is possible - but only if we act with urgency, unity, and vision.
Let us commit today to reforms that empower. Let us invest in systems that include. Let us build partnerships that endure. And above all, let us strengthen global solidarity by empowering local communities through education.
Conclusively, in demonstration of commitment to Chinonye Smile-Care Initiative Vision, Eng. Ifeanyi Ojoh pledged N500,0000 donation in support of our organisation pursuits for Digital Technology and Education Reforms for the students.
Thank you, and may our collective efforts shape a more just, enlightened, and united world.
