We often warn children about strangers,
but statistics tell a harder truth —
the real danger often hides in plain sight.

🔹 90% of child sexual abuse cases involve someone the child knows.
🔹 3 in 4 cases of fatal abuse come from a parent or caregiver.

Protecting children means looking closer —
not just outside, but within their circle. 💔

Here’s how we can start:
1️⃣ Teach personal boundaries early.
2️⃣ Keep communication open and judgment-free.
3️⃣ Know who’s spending time with your child.
4️⃣ Empower, don’t scare.
5️⃣ Always listen — and believe them first.

🚨 OUTRAGE ALERT: SHAMEFUL DISPLAY OF POWER ABUSE BY A NIGERIAN LAWMAKER! 🚨

Yesterday, a shocking video surfaced, capturing a deeply disturbing scene involving Honorable Alex Ikwechegh, a sitting member of the House of Representatives. This leader, entrusted with serving the public, was filmed shamelessly assaulting and demeaning a young delivery driver for the “crime” of asking him to pick up his own package at the gate!

Not only did Hon. Ikwechegh physically assault this young man—he boldly threatened to “make him disappear” and declared he wouldn’t face any consequences. This is a chilling reminder of the inhumane treatment and unchecked power abuse that our society risks normalizing if we remain silent.

Is this the kind of leadership Nigeria stands for?
This behavior is not just an insult to the dignity of the victim, but a terrifying indication of how some of our leaders view the people they are meant to serve. If a public servant feels empowered to treat a young, hardworking citizen this way, what message are we sending to the youth? How safe is ANY Nigerian from similar abuse?

🔴 We DEMAND Immediate Action:
This shameful act cannot be swept under the rug. Hon. Alex Ikwechegh MUST be suspended immediately, pending a full investigation into this incident. This is not just about one man's arrogance; it's about a culture of impunity that rots the fabric of our society.

Our leaders must be held to higher standards.
Power should be used to uplift, not to oppress. Let’s show the world that we won’t tolerate anyone—especially those in power—who think they can trample on others. Hon. Ikwechegh’s suspension is only the beginning.

👉🏾 Nigerians, let’s raise our voices and demand accountability! Share this post. Demand justice for every citizen who dreams of a Nigeria where their dignity is valued, and their rights protected.

Ethical Behaviour in Public Service: A Question of Integrity

In this thought-provoking video, we dive into a real-life scenario that explores the boundaries of ethical behaviour. Ade, a civil servant, takes his official vehicle to his cousin's wedding party, using office resources to fuel the trip. His friend Danjuma questions the ethics of this decision, challenging Ade on whether he received proper authorization or if his 'unofficial arrangement' with his boss makes it acceptable.
