Most Nigerian women do not know this , and it is costing them everything.

Did you know that every woman in Nigeria has a legal right to own property , even after her husband dies?

Did you know that a girl child cannot legally be forced into marriage in Nigeria , regardless of culture or tradition?

Did you know that every Nigerian child has a legal right to free basic education under the Child Rights Act?

Most people do not know these things. And when you do not know your rights , you cannot fight for them.

At Estabol Initiative, one of the most powerful things we do is simply this , we tell people what they are entitled to. We sit with women in communities across Nigeria and we say: this is your right.

Nobody can take it from you.
Knowledge is the first step to freedom.

This week we are sharing facts that every Nigerian should know. Follow our page so you do not miss a single one.

Here is exactly what happens when we visit a community.

People always ask us, what does your work actually look like on the ground?

So today we are going to show you step by step.
When Estabol Initiative visits a community, here is what happens:
Step 1 β€” We meet with community leaders first. We listen before we act. We ask what the community needs , not what we think they need.

Step 2 β€” We conduct a health and social assessment to understand the real challenges women and children are facing in that specific community.

Step 3 β€” We run awareness sessions on health, child rights, women's rights, and environmental safety , in the local language if needed.

Step 4 β€” We connect people to relevant services and resources , health facilities, legal aid, support networks.

Step 5 β€” We follow up. We do not just visit once and disappear. We come back. We check in. We stay connected

This is what community-driven work looks like. It is not fast. It is not glamorous. But it works.

One month. Real numbers. Real impact.

We believe in being transparent with the people who support us.

So here is our honest month 1 report.

In our first 30 days back on Facebook, Estabol Initiative has:

πŸ“Š Reached many people through this page

πŸ“Š Gained new followers who believe in our mission

πŸ“Š Received messages from individuals wanting to volunteer or partner

πŸ“Š Shared stories of real women, children, and communities

πŸ“Š Connected with organisations about potential collaboration. Are these numbers perfect?

No. We are a small team with zero advertising budget running on passion and purpose.

But are they real? Yes. Every single one.

And next month , we will do more.

More outreach. More stories. More partnerships. More impact.

We are building something that lasts here. Not overnight. Not with shortcuts.

But with consistency, honesty, and a deep commitment to the people we serve.

Thank you for being part of Month 1.

Month 2 starts Monday. Stay close.

πŸ’š Share this post and show your network what grassroots impact looks like.

πŸ’š Follow our page so you never miss an update.

πŸ’š DM us to partner with us in Month 2 , as a sponsor, volunteer, or collaborator.

This post is for every person who shared our page this month.

You did something small. You pressed a button.

You shared a post. You tagged a friend.
And because you did that , our message reached someone new.

Maybe that someone was a woman in a difficult situation who needed to know help exists.

Maybe it was a corporate organisation looking for an NGO to partner with.

Maybe it was a young person who just decided they want to volunteer.

Maybe it was someone who donated for the first time because they saw your share and felt something.

You will never know exactly what your share did. But we want you to know , it did something. Every single one.

Social media is not just entertainment. In the hands of an NGO like ours, it is a lifeline.

It is how we find the people who need us. It is how the people who want to help find us.

So thank you. Genuinely. From every woman, child, and community we serve.

Please do it one more time today.

πŸ’š Share this post right now , just because you can.

πŸ’š Tag someone who has a big heart and a bigger network.

πŸ’š Follow our page if a friend shared this and you are seeing us for the first time. Welcome. πŸ’š

We are looking for people who still believe they can change something.

If that sounds like you , read this carefully.

The Estabol Initiative for Social Value, Health and Environmental Watch is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team across Nigeria.

You do not need a degree. You do not need experience. You just need a willing heart and a genuine desire to serve people who need help.

We are looking for people who can help with:

🟒 Community outreach and field visits

🟒 Health awareness and education

🟒 Women's rights and empowerment programmes

🟒 Child rights advocacy

🟒 Social media and content creation

🟒 Administration and coordination

🟒 Photography and documentation

Whether you can give one Saturday a month or several days a week , we have a place for you.

Because the truth is , we cannot do this alone.

Every community we reach, every woman we support, every child we advocate for , it takes people. Real people who decide that someone else's suffering is worth their time.

Be that person.

πŸ’š Send us a DM right now to express your interest.

πŸ’š Share this post , the right person might be in your network.

Nobody pays us to care. We just do.

People always ask us , why do you do this work?
Here is the honest answer.

We do it because we have sat with women who cried not because they were weak but because they had been carrying pain alone for so long that having someone simply listen felt like relief.

We do it because we have looked into the eyes of children who had already learned not to expect too much from life , and we refused to accept that.

We do it because we believe that the value of a human being does not depend on how much money they have, where they were born, or what has happened to them.

Our team is made up of ordinary people.
We do not have unlimited resources. We do not have a big office or a huge budget.

What we have is a deep, stubborn belief that showing up for vulnerable people is worth every sacrifice it costs.

And on the hard days , that belief is enough to keep us going.

πŸ’š Follow our page and be part of the community that keeps us going.

πŸ’š Share this post and tag someone on your team who shows up every day.

πŸ’š DM us if you want to volunteer or partner with us.

She was told her life would never change. She proved them wrong.

Blessing was 31 years old and had never held a job in her life.

Not because she did not want to work. But because she got married at 17. Had three children by 22. And spent the next nine years being told that her place was in the house , not in the world.

When her marriage ended, she had nothing. No skills. No income. No confidence. No idea where to start.

She came to one of our empowerment sessions because a neighbour told her about it. She almost did not come.

She told us later that she sat outside for 20 minutes before walking through the door because she was scared of being judged.

Nobody judged her.Today, Blessing runs a small catering business. She pays her children's school fees herself.

And last month she came back to our programme , not as a participant, but as a volunteer helping other women find their own doors to walk through.

This is what empowerment looks like. Not a speech. Not a poster.

A woman who was lost , and found her way.

πŸ’š Share her story. Someone in your network needs to read this today.

πŸ’š Follow our page for more stories like Blessing's every week.

πŸ’š DM us if you want to support our women's empowerment programme.

This is what 30 days of showing up looks like.
One month ago, we made a promise.

We said we would show up for women who have been silenced. We said we would fight for children who have been forgotten. We said we would stand for communities that nobody visits.

Today, we want to show you that we kept that promise.

Here is what your support made possible this month:

βœ… 4 women reached through our outreach
βœ… 6 children supported in our programmes
βœ… 2 communities visited by our team
βœ… 2 new volunteers who joined our mission

These are not just numbers. Every single one is a real person. A real story. A real life that was touched because people like you chose to follow, share, and care.

We are just getting started. The best of what Estabol Initiative will do is still ahead.

πŸ’š Share this post and show the world what showing up looks like.

πŸ’š Follow our page if you are not following yet.

πŸ’š DM us to find out how you can be part of Month 2.

Three Weeks In . The Movement Is Growing.

Three weeks ago we made a promise.
We promised to show up consistently. To tell stories that matter. To speak for the women, children, and communities that Nigeria too often forgets.

And every single day since then , you have shown us that people are listening.

New followers joining our community every day. Messages from people across Nigeria who recognise the faces in our stories because they have lived those stories themselves.

Organisations reaching out to ask how we can work together. Individuals asking how they can volunteer.

Something is building here.

This page is becoming more than a page. It is becoming a community of people who believe the same thing , that every vulnerable person in Nigeria deserves dignity, safety, health, and opportunity.

We are three weeks old. We have so much more ahead of us.

Next week we begin sharing our proof of work , the real numbers, the real impact, and the real plans for what comes next.

You will not want to miss it.If you are new here , welcome.

Follow our page and stay close.

A Sunday Reflection, What Does "Dignity" Mean to You?

At the heart of everything we do is a single word, Dignity.

It’s the right to health, the safety from violence, and the power to speak one's truth.

As we prepare for a new week, we want to hear from you. We speak with our communities, not at them.

What is one change you want to see for vulnerable women and children in Nigeria this year?

Share your thoughts in the comments below. Your voice matters to us!

What We Carry.

Nobody talks about what it feels like to do this work.

To sit across from a woman who has survived things most people cannot imagine , and to hold space for her story without flinching.

To visit a community and leave knowing that you helped , but also knowing that you could not help everyone. Not yet.

To drive home after a long day in the field and wonder if it is enough. If you are doing enough. If the change is coming fast enough.
Our team carries a lot.

Not because the work is thankless , it is not. We are fuelled every single day by the people we serve and the progress we see, however small.

But because we care deeply. And caring deeply means feeling it all , the wins and the weight of what is still left to do.

We share this today not for sympathy. But because we want you to know that behind every NGO post, every outreach programme, and every beneficiary story , there are human beings pouring themselves into this work.

And we would not have it any other way.

πŸ’š Thank you for following our page and supporting what we do.

πŸ’š Share this post with someone who believes in people who show up for others.

The Village Nobody Visits

There is a community just outside Abeokuta that most people drive past without ever slowing down.

No tarred road leading in. No functioning borehole. No health post. No waste management system.

The people who live there have been living there for decades , raising children, building homes, growing old , completely invisible to the institutions that are supposed to serve them.

When our team first visited, the community leader told us something that stayed with us long after we left.
He said: "We are not asking for everything. We are just asking for someone to remember that we are here."That sentence is why Estabol Initiative exists.

Every Nigerian community , no matter how remote, how poor, or how overlooked , deserves to be seen.

Deserves clean water. Deserves access to health. Deserves an environment that does not make their children sick.

We cannot fix everything. But we can show up. We can listen. We can advocate. And we can refuse to drive past.

πŸ’š Share this post for every community that has been forgotten.
πŸ’š Follow our page , because visibility starts with awareness.
