COCOA AND COFFEE FARMERS ALLIANCE ASSOCIATION OF AFRICA (COCEFAAA) SET TO UNVEIL 3-YEAR DEVELOPMENT PLAN

06/04/2026

We are delighted to announce the formal transitioning of our organization; *Cocoa Farmers Alliance Association of Africa (COFAAA)* into *Cocoa & Coffee Farmers Alliance Association of Africa (COCEFAAA)* sequel to the COFAAA Board resolution dated 23rd March, 2026 that agreed unanimously for COFAAA be merged with Coffee and henceforth become: *Cocoa and Coffee Farmers Alliance Association of Africa (COCEFAAA).*

Cocoa and Coffee are the two dominant cash crops that cut across West, East and Central Africa as of today and also the most traded commodities internationally apart from the fact that most factors related to the two commodities are almost the same in terms of social-economic and environmental issues of sustainability in the Africa continent context.

In practice, cocoa and coffee have been very convenience together and very tolerant in agroforestry practices where cocoa and coffee are grown together to achieve sustainable incomes and diversification required for sustainability in most Africa countries like Cote d’voire, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Nigeria, Uganda etc.

You are formally welcome to the platform where ideas, insights, innovation, knowledge and experience will take a centre stage *to build the biggest voice for cocoa & coffee farmers in Africa* through our partnership, collaboration and cooperation to deepen our continent leadership in production and value additions across the two prominent value chains.
