District Conference 2026 has come and gone but for Rotary Club of Akure Diamond, the memories linger on.

From volunteering as members Host Organising Committee (HOC) activities( Oladipo Bosede Vivian, Bosede Olanusimaliki ) to the participation of members Falodun Victor Olubunmi, Olorunfemi Owa Toyin Adeyalo-Ogundare , Coker Yemi, Samscript, Balogun Tajudeen and the decoration of our new member, Rotn. Ibiloye Oluyemi
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps we did had a nice time.

A big appreciation to the OndoState Contributory HealthCommission for their support throughout the program.

This is our first , we hope to be in Ibadan for the next..

🌟 It was a beautiful outing at the 2nd edition of the Rotary International District 9126, Nigeria cultural promotion night held at Ilorin Kwara State.

To put the icing on the cake, some members of Rotary Club of Akure Diamond stopped over at Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove which is a 75-hectare UNESCO World Heritage site located along the banks of the Osun River in Osogbo Osun state. 🌴

There, we were reminded of olosa and her efforts in preserving the history while also learning more about and the annual osun/oshogbo festival.

🎉 Our tour guide did an amazing job. 🤩 💫🌟

Do you know that if we do not eradicate polio in the next few years about 200,000 new cases can occur and children can become cripple.

Creating awareness, increase advocacy, supervising immunization exercises and raising funds are some of the ways Rotarians make the difference in the fight against polio.

Rotary Club of Akure Diamond members commemorated World Polio Day by hanging out with women with physical disabilities and donating walking aids to those whose disability was due to polio.

A polio free world is possible but only if we work together. Lets create awareness, let's get our children vaccinated.
