SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT.
ALUMNI DAY/ FEAST OF SACRED HEART.
S.H.S ... ADVENIAT REGNUM TUUM.
Good day Distinguished Alumni Our Ancestors, Seniors , Contemporaries and younger Generations
Two years ago the idea of 'Alumni Day' was conceived there by a day is set aside in a year to celebrate one another and reflect on the Nostalgia of those days as students while in the seminary as well as remembering our departed members and also catch fun and wine and dine.This was accepted by the house and it was agreed that it should take place Thursday preceding the Feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus our Patron day.
As a matter of tradition, this year's Alumni Day will come up on Thursdsay the 26th June, 2025 in the Seminary Compound. We are all encouraged to please take active participation in every possible ways we can with God's Assistance and provision.
This year's programme among other things will include:
-Walk in from the gate
- Assembly Session to be addressed by the Rector
- Requiem Mass for the departed members, after the Mass , there will be laying on of wreath on the tomb of some of our departed members who are buried in the seminary cementry.
- Alumni Lecture to be delivered by an erudite scholar of repute who is also an alumnus Professor GBORE Lawrence of Adekunle Ajasin University. and the propose Topic he is expected to deliver his lecture on is
- “The Viral Illusion: Confronting the Menace of Fake News in the Social Media Era”
Special thanks to the lecture committee for the job well done.-
The Ocassion is expected to by chaired by Hon Justice Abe of the Ondo State High court is is equally an Alumnus.
-Some of our members will also be honoured with different Awards of different categories as a way of appreciating them for what they have done for our alma mater as well as their contributions to the larger society and its also an opportunity to spur and encourage others to do more . Special thanks to the Award committee for this special task. We hope that this exercise is going to be a continuous exercise thereby whoever is not among the nominees today could be nominated In the subsequent award ceremonies.
- Other features include:
- Lunch with the students at the refectory
- Sport competetion between Alumni / Students
- Evening Prayer 1
- Gala Night in the evening.
We are all encourage to take active participation in all these lined up programme.

We are also reminded that part of our decision was that our official uniform for our Alumni day is the Seminary's ceremonial uniform of White shirt either long/ Short sleeve over Blue Short or trouser as the case maybe.
Please let us take note of this it is a way of catching fun and ruminating
on our past as students of this noble institution.
If you never sew ya own uniform, go sew am ooo ASAP😀😀😀
Thank God some of our members are tailors so, it is an opportunity to patronise one another.
