Betterliving Foundation and Capacity Development (BEFCAD) facilitates community development & equity in Health, Education, Agriculture and the Environment sectors for vulnerable women, Children and youth in communities. Better Living Foundation (BLF) is registered with the State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development (WA&SD), Ondo State since 2005 as an NGO. BLF core activities include
community mobilizations, capacity building, engaging government and other stakeholders openly and constructively in a round table forum on environmental developments programs, Peer Education on climate change awareness, adaptation/mitigation measures among youth and Research on best biodiversity practices at the community level. Next is the Management level which includes the Executive Director, Program Manager, Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) and the M&E Manager. The Program Officer, the M&E Officer and the Admin officer make up 7 paid staff of BLF. 22 volunteers who double as field workers formed our support staff base gotten from different communities where BLF has worked. BLF had 4,042,700 as its annual budget for 2012.
