On Saturday, 4th July 2026, Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives (SFBI), in partnership with Deeper Life Bible Church, Oke Aro, Akure, Ondo State, successfully hosted the Widows and Single Mothers Conference.

The conference was organized to encourage, support, and empower widows and single mothers through meaningful engagement and practical assistance.

As part of the outreach, Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives provided beneficiaries with food packages, free medical outreach and health screening, clothing materials, cash gifts.

Beyond the items distributed, the event created a supportive environment where participants received encouragement, shared experiences, and were reminded that they are valued members of the community.

We sincerely appreciate Deeper Life Bible Church for partnering with us and providing a conducive environment for this impactful outreach. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers, donors, and supporters whose generosity made this initiative possible.

At Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives, we remain committed to restoring hope, alleviating hardship, and empowering vulnerable individuals and families through sustainable humanitarian interventions.

Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives, in collaboration with Rainforest Alliance and Olatunde International Limited, successfully implemented a Child Labour Remediation Program in Elemosho Community, Ondo East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

As part of the intervention, farmers, parents, and community stakeholders were trained and sensitized on the importance of education, and the need to safeguard children’s rights and wellbeing. Through this initiative, more children are encouraged to remain in school and pursue a brighter future.

We remain committed to promoting child protection, educational empowerment, and sustainable community development across underserved communities.

Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives, in collaboration with Rainforest Alliance Olatunde International Limited, successfully implemented a Child Labour Remediation Program in Isarun Community, Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The intervention helped raise awareness among parents and community stakeholders on the importance of education and the need to protect children from child labour. Through this initiative, more children are encouraged to stay in school and pursue a brighter future.

We remain committed to promoting child protection, educational empowerment, and sustainable community development across underserved communities.

Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives, in partnership with Olatunde International Limited and Rainforest Alliance, successfully implemented a Child Labour Remediation Program at Bolorunduro Grammar School, Ondo East, Ondo State. Through this intervention, students were provided with essential learning materials to help remove barriers to education, encourage consistent school attendance, and strengthen their academic performance.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to creating safe, supportive learning environments where every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. Together, we can break the cycle of child labour through education and empowerment.

Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives, in partnership with Olatunde International Limited and Rainforest Alliance, successfully carried out a Child Labour Remediation Program at Konfort Kiddes Nursery and Primary School, Litaye, Ondo West LGA, Ondo State. The initiative focused on equipping pupils with essential learning materials to promote regular attendance, boost classroom engagement, and enhance overall academic achievement.

Sunshine Food Bank Initiatives, in collaboration with Olatunde International Limited and Rainforest Alliance, carried out a Child Labour Remediation Program at Ile-Oluji Primary School, Ile Oluji/Okeigbo, Ondo State. The initiative aimed to provide pupils with essential learning materials to encourage regular school attendance, improve classroom participation, and promote better academic performance.
