COURTESY VISIT TO OUR PATRON, ENGR. JOE AUGUSTUS

Yesterday, the 1st Parliamentary Assembly of the Igbu-Orlukwor Students Parliament, led by our Rt. Hon. Speaker, Sampson Covenant Chimezu, paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to our esteemed patron, Engr. Joe Augustus, President of the Ogbele Youth Development Association (OYDA).

During the visit, we:

Expressed our gratitude for his role and support as Patron.

Presented our first major achievement — the official Parliamentary Mace.

Shared our vision and plans focused on "Empowering Beyond the Classroom."

Requested his kind support to help us achieve these goals.

In his remarks, Engr. Augustus:

Thanked us for finding him worthy to serve as Patron.

Encouraged us to take our academic journey seriously.

📚 Legislative Training Workshop – A Milestone for Igbu-Orlukwor Students Parliament
Today, the Igbu-Orlukwor Students Parliament successfully held its Legislative Training/Workshop, a remarkable step toward strengthening student leadership, governance, and civic responsibility.

The session was focused on equipping members of the Parliament with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their legislative duties. Participants were trained on parliamentary procedures, leadership ethics, motion drafting, and the importance of youth involvement in democratic structures.

We appreciate our guest speaker, facilitator, and student leaders who contributed to the success of this training. This marks another chapter in our commitment to building informed, responsible, and visionary student leaders.

Together, we rise to represent and serve the interests of the Igbu-Orlukwor student community with excellence. 💪🏽📖
