*My Story, My Vision: Why I'm Running for Youth Leader*
I am Engr. Okafor Chinedu Henry a.k.a Engr. Rano C. I hail from Obiuno village, Ora-eri, and I'm proud to have served my community in various capacities.-

As a civil engineering graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (2012), I've had a passion for leadership and community development. During my university days, I held key positions in the National Association of Civil Engineering Students (NACES), including Financial Secretary (2008) and President (2011). After graduation, I served as the alumni president of NACES from 2014 to 2022.
As a civil engineer, I've created job opportunities for many Ora-eri youths through my construction company, Ranoce Construction Company. We've handled various projects, including road construction, erosion control, and building projects.
In 2022, we diversified into telecommunications, founding Rehoboth Communications, which deals with sales and distribution of quality phone parts.
In 2025, I established Rano C Gadgets Clinic, a company specialized in advanced tech-repairs of phones and laptops. As the chief technician, I've seen the potential for high-tech repairs to empower our youths.
*Why I'm Contesting for Youth Leader*
I'm driven by a desire to serve my community and bridge the gap between our youths and the Oraeri Development Union (ODU). I believe my interpersonal skills, honed through my business endeavours, can help build a formidable youth organization that we can all be proud of.
If elected, I promise to:
1. build a strong youth structure in Ora-eri by
a. Making sure that Ora-eri youths have a working constitution
b. Calling general physical meetings from time to time.
c. And above all, being financially prudent and financially transparent.
2. Skill acquisition:
A- I will use my experience and position as Youth Leader to train at least two Ora-eri youths in a skill of their choice each year.
B. I will personally fund the training of two youths yearly in phone repairs, providing a stipend during the training period.
3. Youth empowerment ÷ God has blessed us with many rich people, and most of them i have discussed are willing to fund the empowerment of those we trained so that the skill will not be a waste.
I'm contesting because of my unflinching desire to see Oraeri move beyond the present.My allegiance will be to the progress of Ora-eri youths/ Oraeri Community and not to any individual or group. I'm committed to serving with integrity and uprightness .Together, we can build a new Oraeri that we all can be proud of.
