Pleased to announce that Obirin Africa will be represented at the United Nations Women UK Commission on the Status of Women for a second year at CSW 68 during Women's History Month.

Our founder Dr Antonia Egbujor will be representing Obirin Africa at CSW 68 which is taking place 11th-22nd March 2024.

This year's priority theme is 'Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective'.

Excited to announce that Obirin Africa will be represented at the United Nations Women UK Commission on the Status of Women 67 (CSW 67) during Women's History Month.

Our founder Dr Antonia Ashaye will be a delegate at the CSW 67 taking place 6th-17th March 2023.

The primary theme of the meeting this year is Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender
equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.

On 1st April we had our first outreach event in Agbowa, Lagos, Nigeria. We made over 60 bags for the widowed women of Home of God's Grace. Each bag contained a reusable face mask, a pack on sanitary products, hand sanitiser and a small cash donation to each woman.

We joined the team at Ingress Health Clinic to speak to people in the local community and encourage them to engage with health professionals for services such as breast and cervical cancer screening and family planning services among others.

We donated some Obirin Africa bags to the health clinic.
