✨ Partners in Vision: RECHEO Health Foundation & PUOEF Impact at Amuro/Mgbom Community Primary School, Afikpo!

Yesterday was a massive success! We at PUOEF teamed up as partners with the amazing RECHEO Health Foundation to bring a vital medical outreach to the children of Amuro/Mgbom Community Primary School Afikpo, Ebonyi State.

Held on November 4th, this initiative was all about giving kids the gift of clear sight! The day was filled with focused eye examinations and consultations by a dedicated medical team from Recheo Health Foundation. The goal? Identifying and providing early medical attention for school children with existing sight impairments or developing vision challenges.

The energy was infectious! From the enthusiastic pupils, the dedicated medical team and the committed volunteers to the critical support provided by PUOEF, the atmosphere was full of joy and gratitude.

A huge shout-out to RECHEO Health Foundation for this wonderful initiative —your dedication truly made this life-changing program possible. Together, we are reinforcing our commitment to the well-being and health of school children in our local communities!

A week ago, the cricket world's newest sensation, Lillian Ude, received a hero's welcome!

As a top performer at the just concluded ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup in Malaysia where Nigeria beat New Zealand and Ireland, Lillian Ude together with her team members made Nigeria proud, putting the country on the global cricket map.

The welcome ceremony was attended by dignitaries from the Ebonyi State Government and Afikpo North LGA Chairman, who praised Lillian's outstanding achievements. As a shining star of the Junior Female YellowGreens and national team, Lillian's success is a beacon of hope for young Nigerians, proving that with hard work and determination, anything is possible!
