WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS

Across many communities, children are not in school not because they don’t want to learn, but because their families cannot afford basic school needs such as:

Uniforms

Books

School bags

Fees

As a result, many children are exposed to street life and limited opportunities.

The From Street to School Initiative is AFEF’s response to this growing challenge.

🌿 What AFEF Really Stands For

Adekunle Future Empowerment Foundation - AFEF was created from a simple belief that every child deserves a chance at a better life, no matter where they’re coming from.
Over time, I’ve seen too many young people who are willing to learn but have no support system. That’s the gap AFEF is stepping into.

Our foundation focuses on real, practical support for students and young people.
These include:

✨ From Street to School Initiative :– helping out-of-school children return to the classroom.
✨ Welcome Back to School Package :– giving students the encouragement and supplies they need at the start of a new term.
✨ School Uniforms, Books & Bags :– providing basic school materials for those who don’t have access.
✨ Scholarships :– supporting students with exceptional promise who need financial help.
✨ General Motivation & Guidance :– helping young people regain confidence, direction, and purpose.

AFEF is not about being big , it’s about being impactful.
If we can help one student stay in school, dream again, or feel supported… then the mission is already working.

Something big is coming.
I’ve been watching the challenges students face every day, from school fees, to academic struggles, to lack of mentorship and guidance.
And I’ve decided to stop complaining… and start acting.
I am building a student-focused NGO that will support, mentor, and empower young people across schools and communities.

It won’t be perfect at first, but it will be impactful.
Step by step, project by project, life by life.
