Love is not sustained by wedding ceremonies, social media pictures, or occasional romantic moments. Real love is planted in everyday actions. Sometimes people assume their spouse already knows they are loved, so they stop expressing it. But love needs to be seen, heard, and felt regularly.

There is a quiet struggle many singles do not talk about openly.
You are of marriageable age.
You desire marriage.
You have prayed, prepared, waited, and hoped.
Yet there is no suitor in view or no serious one.
People around you may not understand your silence. Some think you are being picky. Others think you are delaying. A few assume something must be wrong. And sometimes, even you begin to wonder.
I want you to know that Marriage is not sustained by age, desire, or opportunity alone. It is sustained by wholeness.
Many people rush into marriage because they are tired of waiting, afraid of time, or pressured by society. Others delay marriage not because they are not ready, but because they have not healed. Some are emotionally wounded, spiritually disconnected, or carrying patterns they do not yet recognize.

A good gardener protects the garden from pests and animals.

Marriage also needs protection from external threats such as:

Infidelity
Negative influences
Unhealthy friendships
Financial stress
Lack of boundaries

Couples must create strong boundaries to protect their relationship.

Protection means valuing your marriage enough to guard it.

Planting Seeds of Trust
Trust is like the roots of a tree. Even when the roots are hidden, they hold everything together.
Without trust, insecurity begins to grow.
Trust is built slowly through consistency.
When a spouse keeps their word, trust grows.
When they lie repeatedly, trust weakens.
When they are dependable, trust deepens.
When they become secretive, doubt begins to enter.
Trust is nurtured through honesty, transparency, faithfulness, and accountability.
Once trust is broken, rebuilding it takes patience, humility, and intentional effort.
That is why couples must protect trust carefully. Some damage takes years to heal.
A marriage where trust is strong becomes a place of peace and emotional rest.

Plants cannot survive without water. In the same way, marriages cannot survive without consistent care and attention.

Watering your marriage includes:
Spending quality time together
Communicating regularly
Showing appreciation
Expressing affection

Some couples stop watering their marriage after a few years. Work, stress, children, and responsibilities begin to take all their time.

But a marriage that is not watered will slowly become dry.

Love must be refreshed regularly.
