Children’s Day Greeting to All Deaf Teachers and Happy Celebration to Our Muslim Faithfuls
Dear Deaf Teachers,
Today, as Nigeria marks Children’s Day, we honour you and the children you serve. This year, the celebration feels heavy because many children are missing, taken by bandits and armed groups. It is a painful reminder that childhood itself is under threat in parts of our nation.
Even in this difficult time, your work shines. Through sign, patience, and dedication, you give Deaf children a voice, a safe space, and the chance to learn and dream. In classrooms across the country, you are building confidence, protecting dignity, and reminding every child that they matter.
On Children’s Day, we celebrate you as much as the children. Thank you for standing as guardians, teachers, and advocates when the world feels uncertain. May this day renew our hope and strengthen our resolve that every Nigerian child — Deaf or hearing — deserves to be safe, educated, and free to grow.
Happy Children’s Day to you and to all the children whose lives you touch.
We equally wish our Muslim faithfuls happy Sallah Celebration. May the blessings of Sallah fill every home.
Happy Celebration!!!
