AfricaBuiltByHer is a non-profit organization created to address a hard truth across Africa: too many women are left economically vulnerable because they were denied skills, work experience, or the opportunity to build financial independence. Across the continent, women are often positioned beneath men socially, economically, and professionally. Many are discouraged from working, pressured to aban
don their education, or restricted to domestic roles with no opportunity to build employable skills. Others are educated but disconnected from the workforce for years, leaving them unable to compete when circumstances change. In cases of abandonment, widowhood, or financial withdrawal, these women are left exposed without income, leverage, or support. AfricaBuiltByHer exists to interrupt this cycle. We provide free skills training, career education, and employability support to African women, equipping them with practical, relevant capabilities that can translate into income, work opportunities, and long-term economic stability. Our focus is not certificates alone, but skills that work, confidence that lasts, and career knowledge that protects women from dependency. Our work centre's on:
