ABUJA, THIS IS YOUR INVITATION.

For years, my work as a counselor has placed me in rooms of women, I have listened to their Stories about marriage that feels lonely, motherhood that feels overwhelming, dreams that feel buried under responsibility, and purpose that feels distant.

Again and again, one truth became clear.

Many women are searching for answers, guidance, and honest conversations, yet they rarely find a safe room where these conversations can truly happen.

That is why Beyond The Portal was created.

Beyond The Portal is not just an event. It is a room where real issues are discussed with courage, wisdom, and sincerity. It is a gathering of women who are ready to grow, learn, and step into deeper awareness about their lives, their homes, and their purpose.

This Abuja edition marks the first official gathering (1.0) of what is set to become a continuing platform for meaningful conversations that affect women, families, and society.

At Beyond The Portal, we will have bold panel discussions on topics many people avoid, including:

• The increasing rate of divorce
• Married but living like singles
• Emotional gaps in modern marriages
• Women and leadership in society
• Financial independence for women
• Raising boys who become responsible protectors

You will hear from speakers and voices you may not normally have access to in everyday life. Women from different fields and experiences will share insights that can shape how we think, lead, and build our homes.

Beyond the conversations, this is also a room for connection. A place to meet new people, build relationships, and step outside your usual circle.

If you are a woman in Abuja who desires clarity, growth, stronger relationships, and meaningful community, this gathering was created with you in mind.

Yesterday, our founder and president, Nafisah Abdullahi Aliyu, led our team on a mission of compassion. Following her lead, we returned to the School for the Blind and Deaf to provide essential support to students observing their fast.

​On our return, we checked in on Mrs. Lebechi, a resilient widow and roasted plantain vendor whom Mrs Nafisah Abdullahi Aliyu had supported with a ₦50,000 grant just days ago. Seeing her working in the elements, our president insisted on providing her with a large industrial umbrella for better shelter, alongside a delivery of essential foodstuffs.
​It was a deeply moving encounter; Mrs. Lebechi was overwhelmed with emotion, offering prayers of gratitude for the unexpected follow-up visit. Moving forward, we have committed to visiting her home to assess her living conditions and determine how we can provide long-term sustainable support.

True empowerment isn’t just a one-time gift; it’s a continuous journey.

On March 9th, the Founder of Dignity Network Foundation, Nafisah AbdullahiAliyu, popularly known as Coach , dedicated her day to spreading kindness, compassion, and inclusion across Abuja.

She began the day with visit to the School for the Blind in Jabi, where she spent time interacting with the children, learning about their daily lives, and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Continuing the outreach, she proceeded to Kuje to visit the School for the Deaf, where she engaged with the students, learned basic sign language to communicate with them, and shared moments of joy and encouragement. The visit was a powerful reminder that every child, regardless of their challenges, deserves attention, dignity, and opportunity.

On her way back from the visits, another moment of compassion unfolded. She met a hardworking widow selling roasted plantain (bole) by the roadside. Moved by her story and resilience, Coach Adibahayah empowered her with the sum of ₦50,000 to support and strengthen her small business.

The outreach reflects the foundation’s belief that true impact is found in everyday acts of kindness, compassion, and service to humanity.
