EMPAN at Solar & Storage Live Nigeria 2026

The Electric Mobility Promoters Association of Nigeria (EMPAN) was proud to participate in Solar & Storage Live Nigeria 2026, one of the country’s leading gatherings for renewable energy, energy storage, and sustainable technology stakeholders.

Our President, Engr. Dapo Adesina, represented EMPAN as a panel speaker, sharing valuable insights on the future of electric mobility in Nigeria and the critical role collaboration between government, industry, innovators, and investors will play in accelerating the nation’s transition to sustainable transportation.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with policymakers, renewable energy experts, technology providers, investors, and industry leaders who are shaping Africa’s clean energy future.

At EMPAN, we remain committed to promoting electric mobility, supporting innovation, encouraging strategic partnerships, and advocating policies that will drive a cleaner, more sustainable transport ecosystem across Nigeria.

We thank the organizers of Solar & Storage Live Nigeria 2026, together with the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), the Federal Ministry of Power, and other partners, for convening such an impactful event.

Together, we are driving the future of clean transportation.

Happy New Month, everyone! 🌱

A new month is more than a fresh calendar page β€” it's a chance to raise the bar.

This month, we're carrying real momentum. Off the back of our recent conversations with the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) on adopting and localising EV standards, we're more convinced than ever that the cleanest, smartest version of Nigeria's mobility future is one we build ourselves β€” to standards made for our roads, our climate, and our communities.

Here's to a month of progress, partnership, and purpose.

Together, let's power a cleaner, smarter, and greener Nigeria.

Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria!

Today, June 12, we honour the courage and collective voice that shaped our democracy β€” and celebrate the freedom, unity and progress we share as a nation.

At EMPAN, that same spirit drives our mission: building a cleaner, more sustainable Nigeria through electric mobility. Democracy gives us the freedom to dream big and to power the greener future our children deserve. ⚑🌱

Here's to freedom, progress, and a brighter Nigeria together.

Nigeria has some of the worst urban air quality in the world. Most of it comes from how we move β€” and most of us have accepted it as normal.

It doesn't have to be.

This World Environment Day, EMPAN is calling attention to the link between transport and the environment. Clean mobility is not a luxury conversation. It is a public health conversation. An economic conversation. A Nigerian conversation.

The shift is possible. We just have to want it badly enough. πŸ’š

Eid al-Adha Mubarak from all of us at EMPAN! πŸŒ™

As Nigeria marks Eid-el-Kabir, we join our communities across the country in this season of sacrifice, reflection, and togetherness.

To every partner, advocate, and electric mobility champion celebrating Sallah β€” may your day be filled with joy, peace, and the warmth of those you love.

We remain committed to building a cleaner, greener Nigeria β€” together.
Eid al-Adha Mubarak! 🀍

Every paycheck tells a story. πŸ’ͺ⚑ For too many Nigerian workers, fuel costs swallow a painful chunk of every salary. Electric vehicles change that math β€” lower running costs, stable charging prices, more in your pocket. Happy Workers' Day πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ from the EMPAN family.

What does meaningful collaboration actually look like in Nigeria's clean transport space?

Last week, the EMPAN team had the pleasure of visiting the Pi-CNG & EV Office, where we were welcomed by the Executive Chairman/CEO - Barr. Ismaeel Ahmed and his wonderful team. It was one of those meetings that goes beyond the agenda β€” honest, energising, and full of possibility.

What stood out most wasn't just the progress being made on cleaner transport solutions β€” it was the shared desire to get this right, together.

For us, the conversation sparked some important questions we're still sitting with:
βœ… How do we make sure our stakeholders aren't just informed, but truly part of the journey?
βœ… How do we bridge the gap between policy, infrastructure, innovation, and the everyday Nigerian commuter?
βœ… And how do we build an ecosystem where no one is working alone?
Nigeria's mobility transition is bigger than any one organisation. It will take partnerships, patience, and consistent coordination across the whole value chain β€” government, private sector, civil society, and communities.

We're excited about what this collaboration could grow into, and we'll be sharing more as things develop.

If you're working in this space and want to connect β€” our door is open. πŸš—βš‘πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬
