Theme: “Reimagining Africa’s Future: Leadership, Governance and Diplomacy for Sustainable Development”
SCOPE
We are calling for papers for presentation at the 2026 International Leadership Conference and Awards. We invite scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and thought leaders to contribute original research and critical perspectives that explore forward-looking approaches to leadership, governance, and diplomacy in Africa.
SUB-THEMES
Contributors are encouraged to submit papers addressing (but not limited to) the following areas:
1. Transformational Leadership and Governance in Africa
2. Diplomacy and Africa’s Role in Global Affairs
3. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Policy Innovation
4. Youth Leadership and Political Participation
5. Gender, Inclusion, and Leadership Equity
6. Digital Governance, Technology, and E-Diplomacy
7. Peacebuilding, Security, and Conflict Resolution
8. Economic Development, Trade, and Regional Integration
9. Climate Leadership and Environmental Sustainability
10. Public Policy Reforms and Institutional Strengthening
11. Migration, Mobility (“Japa”) and Development Implications
12. Cultural Diplomacy and Soft Power in Africa
13. Governance, Democracy, and Citizen Engagement
14. Future of Work, Innovation, and Leadership in Africa
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submit an abstract of 250 words
Full papers should not exceed 5,000–7,000 words (including references)
Submission must be typed in 12 font, using Times New Roman
Use APA Referencing Style (7th Edition)
Include author details: name, ORCID ID, affiliation, and contact information
Each contributor is entitled to a complementary copy of the Journal.
Submissions must be original and unpublished in any journal
Contributors who made it to the final selection stage are expected to present an abridged version of their paper at the 2026 International Leadership Conference and Awards
