BREASTS CANCER AWARENESS

Solid Rock once again empowers women. We organized a day workshop on breast cancer awareness through one of her arms Wazobia Women Group, Abuja.

The outreach was focused on sensitizing women living in rural communities about the dangers of breast cancer, early detection and prevention.

We took the sensitization a step further thanks to our medical expert Madam Grace, who offered free medical screening to the participants at her Clinic.

Indeed it was a life changing experience for the participants as they were not only informed about the dangers but were taught how to prevent it.

At Solid Rock Foundation, we are dedicated to reaching out to as many as we can, rendering the necessary help and support to the best of our abilities.

It was an exciting moment for us at Solid Rock Self Reliance Foundation to be a part of empowerment lunch of federal ministry of Humanitarian and poverty alleviation through the office of SSA to the president.

Indeed we cannot talk about poverty alleviation without investing in human development and skill aquisition.

Special thanks to the SSA to the president on humanitarian aid poverty alleviation Hon Delu Bulus Yakubu who chaired the occasion.
