AMAC TODAY

I would have been sworn in today if we had won the Chairmanship of Abuja Municipal Area Council. AMAC would have started experiencing Smart governance from today.

Nigeria would have felt leadership like never before.

From the inauguration ground, I would have proceeded to the Idu primary school to award the contract for the the renovation and rebranding of all the primary schools in the 12 wards of AMAC.

From Idu primary school, I would have proceeded to award the road at Idu and straight to the road from Asokoro to Kobi makaranta, and to Lugbe across to commission one dangerous road I saw there during the campaign and others.

The next day, more contracts would have been awarded for the reformation and re-equipping of the primary health centres in AMAC.

In one week time, we would have launched 1WEEK 1YOUTH MILLIONAIRE program where our government will pick one youth weekly for a million Naira empowerment or support to their small scale businesses or skills. This means that we will be having four millionaires every month for the 12 months of every year.

In two weeks time, all the civilian vigilante across AMAC that are working for free right now would have been invited and commissioned as the local vigilantes that will collaborate with the police to ensure tight security in AMAC under a very encouraging salary that will be above minimum wage.

In a month time, conclusion would have been made to increase the salary of the local government workers in AMAC especially the teachers and the health workers with all their debts and arrears cleared.

Within three months, SMART AMAC App would have been ready for use where all the businesses of AMAC government would be done. All residents of AMAC can transact; pay dues, taxes without harassment, bid contracts, follow projects and watch how AMAC money is being used. This would have killed double taxation and extortion and enhanced transparency and accountability.

After three months, our first town hall meeting with businesses community, traditional community, indigenous people and Non-Indigenous people would have held. Our monthly media briefing would have held thrice to brief residents of AMAC about our journey so far and listen to their opinions on how they want their problems solved.

In six months, all the markets in AMAC would have had street lights, water, security, tax reduction and interlocked road network.

In one year, leadership would have been redefined in AMAC and leadership as never seen before would have been operational in AMAC.

Waste to wealth would have been in practice. Environmental cleanliness would have been in place.

Massive Youths and women empowerment would have started the same week of our inauguration.

In six months time we would have procured the first one thousand vehicles for those who are ready for higher purchase with zero interests.

Our small business grants and project sponsorship would have started.

The indigenes would have been immensely blessed for having us but all these were sacrificed on the altar of tribe and religion.

Now, except the current chairman decides to improve in this second tenure, the schools and primary health centres will continue in shambles. The road in the rural areas will continue to be inaccessible, double taxation will continue in the markets. Businesses will continue without assistance and the youths will continue to be unempowered and unemployed. Insecurity will continue to ravage the locals etc.

Until we realise that our problem starts and ends with leadership, we will not take leadership seriously. Until we realise that our problem is not tribe or religion but inability of people of all tribes and all religions to do things right, we will continue to suffer.

BEYOND THE OFFICE...!

Congratulations Leader, Comr Dr Delaw Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu

Three years in office is more than a political milestone, it is a testament to conviction, courage, and the enduring power of purposeful leadership.

You have emerged as a defining voice of the Ebonyi renaissance, a commanding presence among the ideological frontliners of our generation. A true son of Abakaliki, you have stood boldly at the intersection of art, advocacy, and public service, transforming creative expression into a powerful declaration of identity, dignity, and historical relevance for the Ebonyi people.

In the spirit of great African intellectuals who challenged dominant narratives and inspired cultural awakening, you raised a clarion call for the political, cultural, and psychological liberation of Ebonyi indigenes at home and across the diaspora. You did not wait for validation or permission. You acted. You inspired. You mobilized. And above all, you reminded us of who we are.

Through your work and public engagement, you confronted the long-standing marginalization and underrepresentation of our people within broader regional conversations. You pierced through years of neglect and subtle erasure, declaring unapologetically that the Ebonyi voice matters, that we are not spectators within the southeastern narrative, but stakeholders with a proud heritage, a resilient culture, and a future worth defending. Yet your vision transcended the boundaries of state identity.

As the National Youth Leader of APGA, you refused to be confined by narrow partisanship or the limitations of ethnic politics. Instead, you became a voice for Nigerian youths across party lines and across ethnic divides. You spoke not merely as a political actor, but as a generational conscience. In moments of uncertainty, you offered clarity, in seasons of silence, you spoke with conviction. You demonstrated that leadership is not merely about occupying the office, but about holding ground for those who feel unseen, unheard, and unrepresented.

For three remarkable years, your message has remained unwavering; that Nigerian youths deserve more than ceremonial recognition or political tokenism. They deserve power, platform, participation, and purpose.
You have earned admiration and respect by refusing to weaponize identity or exploit division. Instead, you transform identity into a bridge, proving that one can celebrate their roots while still championing unity, justice, and national progress.

Your voice and your work have instilled a renewed sense of pride and consciousness. What many dismissed as art became advocacy, what appeared as expression became resistance, what started as a message became a movement. You energized a silent majority, awakened dormant consciousness, and restored confidence to many who had long struggled under the weight of inferiority and exclusion. You gave us language. You gave us courage. You gave us visibility.

And let it be clearly stated that your movement is not cosmetic, it is philosophical. It challenges us to rethink our place within regional and national conversations, to occupy space unapologetically, and to build platforms where none previously existed. That, in itself, is transformative. In you, APGA found a national Youth leader who knows and understands the nitty gritty of the office.

Today, after three impactful years in office, it is crystal clear that:

• You have stirred a consciousness,
• You have inspired a movement,
• You have transcended the tribal to embrace the national,
• You have defended identity while promoting unity,
• And above all, you have made us proud.

The journey continues, and history is already recording your contributions among the voices that dared to challenge silence and inspire change.

Today, Comr Dr Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, the National Youth Leader APGA, The Chairman Forum Of National Youth Leader's Of All Political Parties in Nigeria, DG, SWAN, once again demonstrated the true meaning of leadership and brotherhood by standing firmly with one of his own, Saint Anselem, during a deeply emotional moment.

In Ezza Ntezi, within Ishielu Local Government Area, he joined family members, friends, and well-wishers to pay their final respects as Saint Anselem laid his father to rest. It was not just a ceremonial appearance, it was a powerful show of solidarity, and compassion.

Moments like this remind us that true leaders do not only show up in times of celebration, but more importantly, in moments of grief and pain. By his presence, Dr Eze sent a strong message: that no one walks alone, and that community is built not just by words, but by actions.

His support brought comfort, strength, and a sense of belonging to the grieving family. It reflected a culture of unity and shared responsibility that continues to bind the people together.

Indeed, today was not just about a burial, it was about humanity, loyalty, and the enduring power of standing with one another when it matters most.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE

Yesterday, 21st February 2026, the people of Abuja Municipal Area Council exercised their democratic right in a peaceful and orderly manner. I give all glory to God for granting us a safe campaign season and a safe election day without any loss of life or injury. That alone is a victory for democracy and for AMAC.

Against all odds, I warmly congratulate Hon. Christopher Zakka Mekalangu on his victory in the AMAC Chairmanship election. INEC has spoken, and I respect the will of INEC as a legally established institution. I therefore urge Mekalangu to be magnanimous in victory, to govern with humility, and to embrace inclusiveness in leadership. AMAC belongs to all of us, regardless of political, tribal or religious differences, and I hope his administration will reflect fairness, unity, and commitment to the common good.

To my team, my supporters, and every single person who stood with me throughout this journey, I say thank you. You fought a courageous and principled battle. You stood firm. You refused inducements. You refused to sell out. You refused to step down. You carried this movement with dignity, discipline, and integrity.
I am deeply proud of each and every one of you.

Elections are contests of ideas and structure, but character is measured by how we conduct ourselves before, during, and after the process. You have shown that politics can be done with honour. You have shown that conviction is stronger than compromise.

To the good people of AMAC and to Nigerians everywhere, let this be a reminder: we cannot fix our country by sitting on the fence. We must participate. We must speak up. We must contest. We must vote. We must contribute our quota and leave the rest in the hands of God. Democracy thrives when citizens are involved, not indifferent.

This journey does not end here. Service does not depend on office alone. The commitment to youth empowerment, good governance, and community development remains unwavering.

Dear Esteemed Supporters!

Today, I do not speak with a heart of defeat, but with a heart full of gratitude and honour.

I congratulate every one of you, those who believed, those who stood firm, those who sacrificed time, resources, prayers, and energy for this cause. You did not just support a candidate; you carried a vision, defended a dream, and proved that integrity still has a voice in our political space.

This journey was not easy. There were moments of pressure, doubt, and exhaustion. Yet, you remained steadfast. You walked with me, spoke for me, prayed for me, and gave sacrificially, often without expecting anything in return. That alone is victory.

Though the final outcome may not have reflected our collective effort, let it be known that we won something deeper: unity, courage, dignity, and hope.

We showed that politics can be clean, values-driven, and people-centered. We proved that conscience can still contest and stand tall.
History will remember this movement, and it will remember you, the men and women who refused to give up on the dream of a better AMAC. Your support has written our story in bold ink, and no result can erase that.
