Celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child 2025! *Lois & Innocent Institute (LII),* in partnership with the *Network of Women with Disabilities (NWD)* and *Cedar Seed Foundation (CSF)* successfully hosted a virtual webinar in commemoration of the International Day of the Girl Child 2025, held on Saturday, 11th October 2025 via Google Meet.
With the theme *“The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead: Girls on the Frontline of Crisis”* and sub-theme *“Inclusive Voices, Stronger Futures: Girls with and without Disabilities Leading Change,”* the session brought together inspiring speakers and passionate participants to amplify the voices of girls and highlight their roles as change-makers and leaders.
The event featured engaging discussions, powerful messages, and heartfelt encouragement reaffirming our collective commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable world where every girl can thrive, lead, and be heard.
Together, we continue to celebrate girls’ power, inclusion, and leadershipbecause when girls lead, the world becomes stronger and more just!

LOIS AND INNOCENT INSTITUTE (LII) IMPACTFUL PARTICIPATION IN THE INCLUSIVE AFRICAN CHILDREN RUNWAY PROGRAMME 3RD EDITION 2025.

The recently concluded Inclusive African Children Runway Programme was more than just a fashion event — it was a celebration of hope, diversity, and the radiant potential of African children.

LII proudly participated in this inspiring programme, lending its voice and support to the call for inclusivity and equal opportunities for every child. From the runway to the interactions, the event echoed the message that every child deserves a platform to shine.

Our involvement gave us the opportunity to encourage the young models, applaud their courage, and celebrate their creativity. Beyond the fashion showcase, it was a movement of empowerment one that inspired us to remain steadfast in our mission of building an inclusive society.

We also built valuable partnerships with like-minded organizations, ensuring that this experience goes beyond the runway into long-term collaboration for the good of African children.

Truly, LII’s participation in the Inclusive African Children Runway Programme was not just an event it was a statement of hope, inclusion, and possibility.
