Earlier today, my team and I visited Alhaji Hassan Haruna, the CEO/Chairman Halisan Homes, for an important discussion and it was truly amazing.
Everything went smoothly and left us inspired.
Show me a good man, and I will show you Alhaj Hassan a leader with vision, humility, and a genuine heart for people.
We appreciate his warm reception, his wisdom, and his commitment to making a positive impact in our society. Meeting him was a reminder that great leaders still exist men who lift others and open doors of opportunity.

Hon. Idris HK donates ₦2 Million to Support Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation

The Chief Executive Officer of Crush Café, located in Gwarinpa, Abuja, Honourable Idris HK has donated the sum of ₦2 million to support the humanitarian activities of Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation (UHF).

Hon. Idris, who has been closely associated with the humanitarian initiatives of Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation across Kogi State and beyond, announced the donation today, November 8, 2025, in Abuja.

While making the presentation, Hon. Idris commended the foundation for its selfless service to humanity and urged the Chief Executive Officer and staff of the organization to always uphold integrity and the fear of God in all their dealings.

He advised the NGO to carve a unique identity that will stand the test of time, stressing that the organization should distinguish itself from those who use non-governmental organizations as a front for illicit activities.

According to him, “I will continue to support Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation within my capacity to ensure the organization succeeds in fulfilling its mandate.”

Earlier, the CEO of Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation, Miss Ojonugwa Williams expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Idris for his generosity and consistent commitment to humanitarian causes.

She described him as a man who uses his resources to uplift the needy, adding that his acts of kindness cut across religion, tribe, and social status.

She urged Hon. Idris not to relent in his service to humanity, noting that he is a rare gift to society and an inspiration to others.

Established in 2018, Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation is a humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering women financially, offering scholarships to underprivileged children, providing medical assistance to the elderly, installing solar streetlights in rural communities across Kogi State and beyond, and engaging in social advocacy on issues affecting society.

Some people will never help you, even when they have the connection you’re looking for. They’d rather watch you struggle.
You might not have the money to support someone, but if you have the connection to help them, please do. Don’t hold back because you’re afraid they might overtake you remember, we rise by lifting others.
Let’s learn to help one another and make Nigeria a better place 🇳🇬💪❤️

Something has been on my mind for a while now…
It’s sad how some people you call your own can’t stand by you during your trying times not because they can’t help, but because they want to see you struggle, worship them, and treat them like gods first.
They forget that no one knows what tomorrow holds.
Some of the people you see struggling today have a great future ahead of them they will become somebody too.
Even those refusing to help today were once helped by someone.
Please, let love lead. đź’›
Let’s help one another, give opportunities, offer support, share jobs, and lend a helping hand.
If we were truly helping each other, the level of crime in the world today would be far less.
No one will stay in this world forever.
So let’s make it a better place by lifting each other up, not tearing each other down.

How many people have you helped today? 🤔💭
Every day, people around us are silently struggling — the hungry child, the sick widow, the abandoned elderly, the youth with dreams but no support.
Yet so many of us walk past them with closed hands and closed hearts. đź’”
Remember, blessings don’t grow in stingy hands. What you keep all to yourself dies with you, but what you give lives forever in someone’s heart. ❤️
Even the smallest act of kindness can change someone’s entire day — or even their entire life.
Be the reason someone smiles today.
Open your heart. Lend a hand.
✨ Together, we can build a world where no one is left behind.

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a child who hasn’t eaten all day and wondered what tomorrow means for them?
Have you ever seen a widow cry quietly, not just because of loss, but because she doesn’t know how she’ll feed her children?
Have you ever asked yourself what it feels like to wake up every morning with no one to turn to, no support, no hope?

These are not distant realities they are the daily struggles of people around us. And every time I encounter such moments, one question echoes in my heart: If I don’t give hope, then who will?

That question is why I founded the Ugwa Helping Hands Foundation. For me, hope is not just a word it is food for the hungry, education for the child, comfort for the broken, and strength for the weary. Hope is the bridge between despair and a brighter tomorrow.

Through this foundation, I have chosen to stand in the gap, to remind people that they are not forgotten, that there is light even in the darkest nights. My passion is simple: to turn tears into smiles and pain into possibility.

Because at the end of the day, humanity survives on one thing hope. And if we can give hope, then we can change the world, one helping hand at a time.

I'm Ojonugwa Williams and life can only get better
