Do you know?

About 12 million hectares of forest are lost each year reducing earth's natural ability to absorb CO2 emission.

Climate Action: We must plant and grow more trees than we are cutting to keep the planet healthy.

Despite global investments in sustainable electricity, slightly over 25% of electricity is generated from wind, solar and other renewable energy sources.

NB: Renewable emit little to no greenhouse gases or air pollutants.

Action: We must invest more in renewable energy.

Emission must reduce by 42% to achieve 1.5°C global warming by 2030 relatively to 2019 levels -UNEP

Since 2024, the earth has become warmer than 1°C, a reason for an intensified climate action by all!

The world relies too much on fossil fuels like oil, coal and natural gas. This is having detrimental impacts on the climate by contributing 34% of human-caused greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that warm the planet.

The challenge is to reduce reliance on fossil fuels to source our electricity, supply our heating and cooling needs, and power our industry and transportation, by accelerating the transition to sustainable and affordable energy for all.
