This will improve capacity, reduce wait times and make daily commuting easier for Lagosians.

Under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, we have witnessed an ailing economy transformed into a more robust and resilient one, creating opportunities for growth and prosperity that were previously absent.

These positive shifts are increasingly evident to every progressive-minded citizen who believes in the promise of a stronger Nigeria. The reforms being implemented are gradually restoring confidence, encouraging investment, and positioning our nation for sustainable advancement.

During our meeting today, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it was reassuring to observe that Mr. President’s unwavering focus on the critical task of rebuilding our nation remains undistracted by the antics of those who nurture selfish objectives.

President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu attended the official commissioning of the Corporate Headquarters of the Nigerian Revenue Service (NRS) in Abuja.

The newly inaugurated NRS Headquarters is a modern facility featuring sixteen floors across three towers, with the capacity to accommodate about 3,000 employees—marking a significant step toward strengthening revenue administration and institutional efficiency in Nigeria.

At the behest of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the Kebbi State Government House to offer condolences of the Federal Government to the Kebbi State Government and families of slain military and police officers recently attacked in Shanga Local Government Area of the state.

VP Shettima will also use the moment to commiserate with the Governor of Kebbi, Dr. Nasir Idris and the people of the state over the death of the Speaker of Kebbi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Muhammad Usman Zuru, who died at the age of 56, on Monday, April 7, in Cairo, Egypt.

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja to grace the first-ever Abuja Dialogue, organized by the Federal Government in collaboration with the Lagos State Government.

The dialogue, themed “Scaling Excellence: Youth Leadership as Strategic Infrastructure for National Transformation,” is targeted at grooming and equipping young leaders through structured programmes that drive leadership exposure, while sustaining an enabling environment for aggressive human capital development and deployment.

Good morning, great comrades of progress.

Yesterday, we had the rare privilege of presenting an official letter to Hon. Bashir Abubakar, MFR, the Honourable Chief Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission, Abuja, inviting him to serve as one of the Patrons of Youth for PBAT 2027.

We are delighted to share that he graciously accepted the position. He offered impactful advice drawn from his experience as a member of several Presidential Committees for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and also pledged his unwavering support to our cause whenever needed.

In a further show of solidarity, he invited his friend and brother, Distinguished Senator Sulaiman Othman Hunkuyi—former Senator representing Kaduna North Senatorial District and currently serving as a Commissioner at the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).

This development is highly encouraging and reinforces the belief that with a clear vision and purpose, there are no limits to what we can achieve.

We sincerely appreciate the effort of Comrade Shuaibu Imam Musa, the Kaduna State Coordinator, for facilitating this connection. While some may be focused on clout and rewards, others continue to demonstrate true commitment and capacity.

May this exemplary act of dedication inspire us all as we move closer to the nationwide primaries of our great party, the APC.

Late Senator Mpigi Served With Dignity and Devotion - Akpabio

The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio has said the late Senator who represented Rivers South East Senatorial District served his people and country with with honour, dignity and unwavering devotion to duty.

Senator Akpabio made the declaration in his tribute at a funeral service held in honour of the late Senator in the Anglican Church in Koroma Tai in Rivers State.

According to Senator Akpabio, “Senator Barinada Mpigi served his people and his country with honour, with dignity, and with unwavering devotion to duty.

In the hallowed Chamber of the Senate, where the affairs of the nation are debated and determined, his voice was steady, his judgment thoughtful , and his commitment to the welfare of his constituents unmistakable.

According to Senator Akpabio, the late Rivers State Senator served with dignity and with conviction mindful that the lives, hopes, and welfare of many were bound up in how faithfully they served.

“He served with loyalty to his people, with fidelity to his conscience, and with faith in the promise of our nation.

“Though we grieve his loss, we remember him as a man who served with honour, who labored with conviction, and who believed in the future of Nigeria. Nigeria misses him. The Senate mourns him. His people remember him. His service remains stenciled in the tablets of time and in our national archives,” Akpabio said.

Until his demise the late Senator Mpigi who represented Rivers South East in the Senate was the Chairman Senate Committee on Works and was reputed to be one of the most influential, outspoken and dedicated Senator in the Nigerian 10th Senate.
