Nigerians asked for one simple thing:
a transparent way to transmit election results in real time.

This reform was designed to reduce manipulation, cut delays, and rebuild trust in our elections.

The House of Representatives agreed.
The Senate removed it.

This is not speculation. It is documented in the Senate’s own version of the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill.

The harmonisation committee is now the final g*te.
These are the lawmakers responsible for deciding what survives in the final law.

If electronic transmission of results matters to you, this is where your voice must be heard.

Call them.
Text them.
Speak respectfully, but firmly.

Democracy only works when citizens engage.

Yesterday, the Senate passed the Electoral Amendment Bill but rejected the demand for mandatory electronic transmission of results.

Young Nigerians asked for fairer elections, stronger accountability, and trust in democracy. Electronic transmission was not a radical demand, it was a safeguard against manipulation

By throwing it out, the Senate chose political convenience over Nigeria’s future. That is not representation. That is betrayal. If you believe young Nigerians deserve a voice and credible elections, share this message widely.
