Today, I joined the good people of Gwagwalada Area Council in celebrating our revered leader, Principal Comr. Kasim Mohammed Ikwa, on his first 100 days in office.

Since he assumed office, we have witnessed a leadership built on transparency, commitment and purpose. He came prepared, and more importantly, he has continued to match his words with action.

Kasim Mohammed Ikwa is already setting standards that will leave a lasting legacy for years to come. We are witnessing a leadership style that places the interests of the people above individual interests.

From taking over abandoned projects to embarking on new ones, the transformation is becoming visible.

We have seen how the Area Council Conference Hall received a new look within a short period. We saw contractors return to site to continue the long-abandoned Anguwan Bassa–Dobi Road. He also took on the completion of the long-abandoned Gwagwalada Town Hall Project, which is now about 99% completed.

We have also seen the immediate award of the Milano Junction–Yimi Road, a road that has caused residents serious difficulties in accessing their communities over the years. Beyond infrastructure, we are equally witnessing a reward system that recognizes commitment and service.

With all these, we have every reason to say that Gwagwalada is blessed with a leader who SAYS AND DOES.

On behalf of my family and the entire Imoh Care Foundation, I congratulate you, on this remarkable milestone. May Almighty Allah continue to strengthen you in serving humanity and delivering meaningful development to the people of Gwagwalada Area Council.

Your commitment and contributions to the development of Abaji Area Council and the FCT at large are truly commendable.

As one of the youngest Chairmen in the FCT, your achievements and impact continue to speak for themselves.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of the Head of Department of Health, Gwagwalada Area Council, Dr. Adeniran Adeyemi, who passed away yesterday after a protracted illness at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.

This is a great loss to the entire Health Department and Gwagwalada Area Council at large.

Dr. Adeniran was known as a dedicated and hardworking Director who gave his all to strengthening healthcare services across Gwagwalada. His contributions, commitment, and service will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones. May God Almighty Grant his family the strength to bear this great loss.

May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️

Today, I join family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate our revered leader, the National President of the Bassa Cultural and Development Union (BCDU), Chief Dr. Peter Tukura

Since his emergence as President of the BCDU, he has remained dedicated and committed to the service and development of the Bassa people in Nigeria and the diaspora. Over the years, he has taken bold and difficult decisions aimed at strengthening our community and promoting unity among our people.

Under his leadership, the Union has continued to build stronger branches across states and local governments, while giving greater visibility and recognition to the Bassa people.

Chief Dr. Peter Tukura has demonstrated a strong sense of leadership and commitment to community development, leaving a meaningful mark on the Bassa community.

On behalf of myself and my family, I wish you greater strength, wisdom, good health, and continued success as you serve our people and humanity.

With a heavy heart and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the young people who lost their lives in the recent unfortunate and tragic incident involving persons in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Niger State Command.

This is a deeply painful incident, especially for the families and loved ones left behind. May Almighty Allah forgive the deceased, grant them Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give their families the strength and comfort to bear this great loss.

Following the constitution of an Independent Committee by the Federal Government to investigate the Minna miners' deaths, I urge the committee to carry out its responsibility with sincerity, independence and utmost professionalism.

The circumstances surrounding this tragic incident must be thoroughly investigated, and where wrongdoing is established, those responsible should be held accountable in accordance with the law. I also urge the relevant authorities to make the outcome of the investigation known to the public for the sake of transparency, justice and public confidence.

May Almighty Allah prevent the recurrence of such a tragedy and continue to protect our youths and every Nigerian.

I warmly congratulate the First Lady of Gwagwalada Area Council and FCT WALGON Vice President, Hajiya Hauwa Mohammed, on the conferment of the prestigious traditional title of Zinariyar Masarautar Zuba by His Royal Highness, the Agora Zuba, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Umar.

This well-deserved honour is a recognition of your dedication, humility and valuable contributions to the empowerment of women and youth, as well as your commitment to peace, unity and community development.

Ma, I pray that this new traditional title will bring greater honour, wisdom and opportunities to continue impacting lives positively.

May Allah continue to guide and strengthen you as you serve humanity and contribute to the development of our communities.
