Nigeria’s great potential is trapped in a vicious cycle by wrong development education and orientation; neither the common sense nor regular expertise can imagine this trap, let a
lone how to get the country out of it. Fix Nigeria Movement is thus a non partisan, broad national platform to mobilize all educated Nigerians and elite organizations so that we can use the genius in our collective wisdom and capacity to intervene and get Nigeria out of the trap, using the alternative development concept that emerged from divine revelation and over 25 years conclusive research work on the subject as a precision-guide. OUR VISION: A just and well informed Nigeria where all citizens will be committed to common good;
OUR MISSION: To create the platform for Public-Civil Society Partnership for Development (PICSPAD), which will reconcile Nigerians with the Nigeria State, protect strategic national values against inadvertent distortions and use the genius in our collective capacity to lift the nation’s economy up from primary to the secondary resource or knowledge phase of development where transition troubles end permanently. OUR AIM: To ensure that the New Nigeria of our dreams begins in June, 2015
STRATEGY: To eliminate all the cobweb that current development education had built into the basic development concepts and imagination, which is driving today’s complications, so that the road to Nigeria’s great destiny will be crystal clear to all, particularly the next leaders
OBJECTIVES:
1) To expose Nigerians to the new reality of their country’s development troubles and solution as established by divine revelation and conclusive research work on the subject;
2) To facilitate government’s adoption of alternative to the orthodox development concept, which is the nature’s formula for activating (non-oil) export capacity of a transition economy, for the management of the nation’s economy from June 2015;
3) To expose the nation to the ideal context and configuration of the basic institutions and systems that uphold integrity in public service, even as it guides economy in the direction of its potentials;
4) To provide precise knowledge that will kick-start the diversification of the nation’s economy and;
5) To create the platform for public-civil society partnership to resolve the nation’s unity, competitive, unemployment, poverty, insecurity and commitment challenges that have not only assumed crisis dimension, but which current orthodox development knowledge have absolutely no answers to.. EXPECTED (INTERMEDIATE) OUTCOME.
1) The rise of a new national spirit, which, everywhere, drives the collective effort that enables transition countries to lift their economies up from primary to the secondary resource or knowledge phase of development that is sustainable after transition acrimonies;
2) Exit of the age of extreme poverty, mass unemployment and underemployment in the country;
3) Shut down of all windows of systemic abuse and large scale corruption in the country;
4) Elimination of the phase of wild experiments with the nation’s economy and;
5) The rise of unity amongst elite organizations in the service of all that is true and just for Nigeria. ULTIMATE RESULT.
1) A diversified economy able to compete globally with non-oil domestic products and whose real growth rate is always able to keep reasonable pace with local population growth;
2) Return of the age of inclusive growth and prosperity in the economy
3) Elimination of inducement to disunity and violence in the nation’s politics;
4) Enthronement of the ideal development education to sustain the new order and;
5) The return of real peace and domestic harmony in the country. This was how countries we admire today made it—you must stand up to be counted!
