Congratulations and welcome onboard the United Nations Youth Association-Nigeria (UNYA-NG).

The United Nations Youth Association-Nigeria (UNYA-NG) officially established in the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 3rd January, 2024, is a youth led non governmental organization/entity consisting entirely of Youth Volunteers in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The United Nations Youth Association-Nigeria ( -NG) is a great platform to learn about the United Nations, the Sustainable Development Goals ( ) and get other youth involved in understanding and sharing the ideals enshrined in the United Nations Charter and other universal principles.

UNYA-Nigeria also provide fertile ground for youth development, empowerment, education, networking and generating public opinion to support the works and programmes of the United Nations building a better world for all.

Core Aims of the United Nations Youth Association-Nigeria are to:

1. Educate young people and the community about the works and programmes of the United Nations, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

2. Empower young people to get involved in international affairs and civil society.

3. Represent the views of young people at a local, national and international level.

4. Act as forum for young people to network and socialize.

The United Nations Youth Association Nigeria (UNYA-NG) conduct a variety of activities, some of which are:

1. Model United Nations, a simulation of a UN meeting for High School Students, Undergraduates and Nigerian youths.

2. Education programmes for primary, secondary school students, and undergraduates to inform them about the works and programmes of the United Nations, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

3. Speakers events and panel discussions.

4. United Nations Youth Delegate Programmes.
