The NetZero team led by is Executive Director recently met with the Climate Partnership Officer of the British High Commission to Nigeria. Ms Matin sobey, (RsP by) Alh Adams, We took the opportunity to present our 'Climate Rider NG' Report and we detailed our campaign focus on mainstreaming climate action into local and state government policies. Additionally, we highlight our commitment towards the mission of a just energy transition to Netzero and increase awareness of climate change to strengthen adaptation and resilience across communities.

The Netzero Team recently paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the National Council on Climate Change (NCCC), who also serves as the Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action. During the visit, we had the opportunity to present our latest Advocacy Report, which outlines key insights and recommendations for accelerating climate action.

In addition to discussing the report, the meeting provided a valuable platform to further explore opportunities to strengthen our partnership with the NCCC and collaborate on initiatives aimed at addressing the challenges of climate change. We look forward to continued engagement and working closely together to drive impactful climate solutions.

We launched a Social Inclusion for Climate Action survey aimed at gathering data across Nasarawa State.

This survey is designed to better understand the community's perspectives and experiences, ensuring that climate action strategies are inclusive and representative of all voices in the region are adequately captured.

Our dedication to promoting regionally coordinated actions to combat climate change is demonstrated by our presentation of the Netzero Climate Advocacy report to the Hon. Commissioner of Environment for Ogun State. For climate solutions to be implemented effectively, governments and regional stakeholders must be on board. The report stressed how crucial it is for everyone to work together to cut greenhouse gas emissions and lessen the effects of climate change.
