Day 3 of the United Nations WSSD2 2025 in Doha, Qatar was interesting and exciting.

Among other sessions, I attended a side event was organised by Government of Eritrea where the national achievements and pathways to inclusive social development were presented and discussed. The key highlights include:
Gender parity in Education Intervention and strategies for promoting education among girls and women (e.g. cash incentives, modern buses for girls and female teachers)Technical & Vocational Education Vocational Training to Grade 10Free Education from preschool to Grade 8.Inclusiveness (Teaching in Mother tongue) Quality opportunity for Girls and boys. Rapid Decrease in maternal Mutilation.

All these are interconnected and crucial for inclusive social developments

Day 2 of the United Nations WSSD2 in Doha, Qatar was very interesting and enriching.

Initiatives to foster inclusive and sustainable Development

Promotion of decent work, focus on 75% of women

Grants for people with disabilities and those below poverty line.

Youth Empowerment
Entrepreneurship, skill acquisition.

Ensuring no child potential will be sturted by hunger.

THE ROUND TABLE SESSION

UN coordinators, Agencies delegate etc gave insight on regions they've reached out to and how social development can be achieved.

Area of focus
EducationHealthpartnerships with faith affiliated organisations at the Community and national level.Train Religious leaders. Interfaith cooperation.Focus on what Unites religion and not what divides them.Religious Actors should close the gap amongst themselves, cos every religion as compassion and loveFocus on measures in supporting Girl Child Education .Laws and polices against Child marriage.Flexible Learning programmes.

It is a pleasure and privilege to attend as a Delegate at the United Nations Second World Summit for Social Development (WSSD2) 2025 holding in Doha, Qatar from 3rd - 6th November 2025, I had an Impactful interactive session with Delegates from other countries.

The Summit is a global event hosted by the government of Qatar with the aim of fostering inclusive social development and addressing key challenges to achieve well-being for everyone
Day 1 (Tuesday, 4th November 2025) featured among other activities the Opening Ceremony, attended by leaders from governments, international organisations, non-governmental organisations, civil society, the private sector, academic institutions and the United Nations system.

Issues discussed today included global financing architecture; creating and sustaining jobs; climate change and implications on hunger and poverty, among others.

It is estimated that 8,000 delegates from various parts of the world would be attending the 3-day Summit which derives its mandate from the United Nations General Assembly.

As we step into this new month, we pray that God's mercies and blessings will abound in our lives and that of the vulnerable around us.

As we bring them love, care, and support from our foundation, may their struggles be eased, hopes renewed, and futures brightened.

And As we continue to serve, empower, and advocate for their rights, well-being and work together to create a more compassionate and inclusive community where everyone thrives, may all our efforts yield good fruits. (Amen)
