God helped us.
HOPE Ministries in partnership with our friend MLHARI Project HOPE has witnessed three (3) missions to our friends behind bars within the last three years. Our first mission was to our friends at MSCC Kaduna and second to MSCC, Keffi, Nasarawa State.This third visit was an instruction from God to go back to Keffi to finish what He (God) started, paying attention to their health and wellbeing.
On Saturday, 30th August 2025, we embarked on a transformative journey through the walls of the Medium Security Correctional Centre (Keffi Prison) in Nasarawa State. Our mission was driven by the desire to bring healing, help, and hope through the message of Jesus Christ. Our efforts were concentrated on fulfilling three core mandates: spiritual enlightenment, medical care, and relief assistance.
We had harvest of souls (37 inmates gave their lives to Christ). In addition to this, health screenings were conducted for vulnerable individuals. These screenings were pivotal in identifying health concerns, and we ensured that prescription drugs were provided to inmates.
Furthermore, essential relief materials were given to the inmates, ranging from bibles, (donated by The Bible Preserving Family from UK,), to inspirational books, food, toiletries and footwears. This mission was not just about providing aid; it was about planting seeds of hope and faith that will continue to grow long after our departure. We are committed to touching more lives as God grants us the privilege to be of use to Him in any capacity he calls us into.
Once again, we are deeply GRATEFUL to everyone who supported us on this mission from our donors to volunteers, medical team, Correctional centre team and my lovely daughters who are now committed members of the ministry.
My prayer is that none of us will loose our rewards here on earth and the life after. Amen.
