Heavenly Father,

Today, we lift every military widow into Your loving hands. Lord, strengthen those whose hearts are heavy and whose spirits are low. Replace sorrow with hope, fear with peace, and despair with renewed strength.

Father, we pray for widows facing financial hardship. Open doors of divine provision, grant them opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, and bless the work of their hands. Let no family lack daily bread.

Lord, remember those struggling with accommodation. Be their refuge and make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide safe, peaceful, and permanent homes for them and their children.

We also pray for every widow raising her children alone. Give her wisdom, courage, good health, and the grace to nurture her children into responsible and successful adults. Let the children of our fallen heroes grow under Your protection and favour.

May Your mercy speak for every military widow. Turn every pain into purpose, every tear into testimony, and every challenge into victory. Surround them with people who will support, encourage, and uplift them.

We ask all these through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Fellow Nigerians,
As the Interim National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Military Widows Association (MIWA), I hereby declare:

*MIWA's Objectives*
a. MIWA is an association exclusively for women whose husbands died as military personnel.
b. Our aim is to support and advocate for the welfare of military widows.
*Leadership Structure*
MIWA is led by widows, with coordinators elected by the widows in various states. We do not recognize or appoint men as coordinators or zonal coordinators. The military and the Nigerian Legion Chairmen are the only men we work with in leadership structures.
*Warning*
Baware that other than the aforementioned, any individual, particularly men, claiming to represent MIWA or engaging in activities under her name without authorization will be held accountable.
*Government Recognition*
MIWA is the only association recognized by the Government, Military Arms and the Nigerian Legion to represent Military Widows.
*Investigation*
Investigation is currently ongoing to identify individuals presenting themselves as MIWA members or coordinators. If you have evidence of sabotage or unauthorized activities, please report to:
