Learning doesn’t always happen behind a desk. Sometimes, it happens when a child picks up a tool, tries something new and discovers, “I can do this.” ✨

Skill Fridays gives our children the opportunity to explore, create and learn practical skills beyond the classroom.

From creativity to craftsmanship, every new skill is another possibility they can carry with them.

Because education should not only prepare children to pass exams. It should prepare them to navigate life.

From mixing ingredients to creating something they could proudly call their own, our children brought curiosity, excitement and so much passion into the Baking & Catering Department. 🧁👩🏽‍🍳

Guided by Ishola Latifah of Unique Empress Cake & Events, the children explored the art of baking and catering while learning the value of patience, creativity and practical skills.

What stood out most was their enthusiasm. They asked questions, participated fully and were eager to learn something new.

We are grateful to instructors like Latifah who generously share their knowledge and help our children discover that their hands can create, their minds can learn and their skills can open doors.

This is what Skill Fridays is about: giving children opportunities to explore, learn and discover what they are capable of.

Every child deserves the chance to simply be a child, to learn, grow, play and dream without having to choose what they can afford.
