Textiles are thousands of years old - some of the earliest known evidence of textile-making dates back about 12,000 years.
And somehow, the simple idea behind it is still relevant today: take a material, learn the craft, and make something useful.
In Bauchi North, through the , beneficiaries were trained in textile and weaving skills, learning to work with looms and threads, create useful products, and even turn discarded nylons into bags - skills they can use to earn an income and build another source of livelihood.
Because sometimes, a skill is more than something you learn. It can become something you build a livelihood around. ๐งถโป๏ธ
