*REPORT ON SPECIAL MISSION TO TOGO*

*Submitted by:* Mr. GAVO KODJOVI
*Date:* Friday, 9th May 2026
*Mandated by: The High Commissioner of Togo to Nigeria & Togo Country Delegates to Nigeria.

*Mission Purpose:*
To accompany Mr. GOKOU Togbé to his hometown in Togo, to be coordinated with local authorities, and ensure his safe handover to his biological family after his case of involving in an accident, resulting in operating on his leg at Gbagada General hospital under the supervisor of the Lagos state government and later discharged into the custody of the Togolese High Commission.

*How the Mission Unfolded*

ATCN Largos state Chapter Secretary Prince Gavo Kodjovi accompaning our brother Togbe Gokou arrived together in Togo in the early hours of 10th May 2026, around 1:00 AM. After checking into a hotel, they prepared for the day’s engagements.
At around 9am they met with _Togbé KALIPÉ_, the Chief of the Vogan region, at his palace. His support was crucial. He helped them traced the victim’s family and opened the doors for formal engagement with the community as he was overwhelmed by the patriotic acts of togolese community in Nigeria.

With the Chief’s assistance, Mr. GOKOU’s family was located and the handover to his aged father and sisters in the presence of the Vogan palace officer was carried out formally and respectfully, marking the completion of the core mission objective and our State secretary Prince Gavo (after a courtesy visit to ATCN national Vice President Mr. Gadzezo Kossi who was in Togo on a family visit) have returned safely back to Lagos

We solely appreciate the overwhelming support of the Togo High Commission through the leadership of His Excellence Mr. Lené Dimban and The Togo Country Delegates who ensure the whole task was hitch free.
The mission proceeded smoothly with no security incidents or disruptions.
