Sexual violence is a serious public health and human rights issue that affects millions of people—especially women and girls—across the world. *Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)* is a time to raise awareness, support survivors, and promote prevention.

Sexual assault is *never the victim’s fault*. It can happen to anyone, regardless of age, background, or gender. Breaking the silence and challenging harmful norms are key steps toward ending sexual violence.

*What we can do:*
🔹 *Believe and support survivors* without judgment
🔹 *Speak up against abuse and harmful behaviors*
🔹 *Educate communities* about consent and respect
🔹 *Promote safe environments* in homes, schools, and workplaces

IWD activity with women living with disabilities today

Today is International Women's Day....

Working Fingers working Fingers International Initiative marked the day by gifting some members of her Business Management Organization with wrappers. The event to mark the IWD was organized in collaboration with Nigeria Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
Earlier, there was Financial Literacy class by the Program Coordinator, Amb Eris Jewo . She emphasised the need to separate themselves from their small scale businesses. She also encouraged them to save so that they can access facilities when the need arises to upscale their SME s.
Fifty five participants attended the days event which included four women living with disabilities.
