In a world that too often overlooks the mental health of trans people, compassion is not optional—it is essential. Every act of understanding, every word of kindness, and every space of safety helps someone breathe easier, heal deeper, and live more fully in their truth.

Mental health is a right, not a privilege.

What is Family … if love has conditions?

For many transgender people, home the one place meant to feel safe becomes the first place of rejection. Not because they failed. Not because they are less. But simply because they are misunderstood.

And yet, the truth remains:

Trans people are not outsiders.
They are our children. Our siblings. Our friends.
They are family.

When love is withheld at home, the impact does not stop there. It shapes confidence, mental health, safety, and ultimately the kind of society we all live in.

But when we choose differently
When we choose to listen, to understand, to accept; We don’t just change one life.

We change everything.

Because a family rooted in love does more than survive… it thrives.
It raises stronger individuals, builds safer communities, and creates a society where humanity truly comes first.

The choice is ours, every single day:

Love is a choice. Humanity is a responsibility.

In a world where discrimination still shows up as transphobia, racism, ableism, s*xism, and homophobia, we must be intentional about the side we stand on. Silence protects injustice—but action builds a better society.

Choose to see people.
Choose to respect differences.
Choose to stand up, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Choose love. Always.

Because a more inclusive world doesn’t happen by chance—it happens by choice.

We at CDLC Nigeria are deeply encouraged by the growing momentum of the campaign as we continue to build meaningful alliances for a more just and inclusive society.

Our recent engagement with Lawyers Alert Nigeria, a respected coalition committed to human rights protection and advocacy, was both impactful and inspiring. We were warmly received by their leadership and team, and together we explored practical pathways for collaboration and partnership.

These conversations opened doors to shared opportunities from participation in their national events to strengthening solidarity across movements. At the heart of this partnership is a shared commitment to ensuring that trans and gender diverse persons are not left behind, but actively included in strategic spaces, programs, and policy conversations.

Now more than ever, we must come together to amplify the right narratives, deepen awareness, and pursue meaningful legal interventions that uphold dignity, equality, and justice for all.

This is a collective journey, one that calls for empathy, courage, and action. We invite individuals, organizations, and allies across Nigeria to stand with us, support this campaign, and be part of building a society where everyone belongs.

Choose Love, Choose Humanity: CDLC Hosts Community Dialogue on Safety, Growth, and Collective Action

In a powerful show of unity and purpose, Creme de La Creme House of Fame Foundation (CDLC) hosted the Choose Love Choose Humanity Community Dialogue webinar, sponsored by the International Trans Fund. The event brought together community members, advocates, and leaders committed to building a more inclusive and compassionate society.

The dialogue created a safe and engaging space for honest conversations around safety, self-development, and the urgent need for collective responsibility in fostering a society where everyone can thrive regardless of their s*xual orientation or gender identity.

Speaking at the event, Co-Director Acapel emphasized that true societal progress can only be achieved through collaboration and intentional acts of love. She highlighted the importance of unity within the community, noting that “it is only through collective effort and love that we can build a society where humanity truly thrives.” She further encouraged participants to prioritize self-development and skills acquisition, stressing that self-sufficiency remains a critical tool for empowerment and long-term stability.

Also speaking, Co-Director Franklin reinforced the importance of skill acquisition and personal growth. He noted that a progressive society must be one that recognizes and celebrates accomplishments and meaningful contributions, irrespective of s*xual orientation or gender identity. His message underscored a vision of a society where merit, impact, and humanity take precedence over prejudice.

Participants actively contributed to the dialogue, sharing lived experiences, insights, and solutions. Key themes that emerged included the need for safer environments, continuous self-development, mutual care, and a stronger culture of love and support within and beyond the community.

The webinar stands as a reminder that advocacy is not just about resistance—it is about rebuilding, reimagining, and reinforcing a society rooted in empathy, dignity, and opportunity for all.

As the Choose Love Choose Humanity campaign continues to grow, one message remains clear: a better society is possible when we choose love, and when we choose humanity—every single time.

Visible. Powerful. Unapologetic. 🏳️‍⚧️

This Trans Day of Visibility 2026, we center a simple but powerful truth: Choose Love. Choose Humanity.

In a world where fear and misinformation still shape narratives, choosing love becomes an act of resistance. Choosing humanity means seeing transgender people not as debates, but as people deserving of dignity, safety, and equal rights.

Visibility is more than being seen, it is about being valued, protected, and embraced.

We are here. We exist. And we will continue to rise—boldly, proudly, and authentically.

Choose love. Choose humanity. Always.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Re: IOC Policy on Mandatory SRY Genetic S*x Testing

We strongly condemn the International Olympic Committee’s policy mandating SRY genetic s*x testing for eligibility in the female category.

Framed as “fairness,” this policy raises serious ethical, scientific, and human rights concerns. It risks harming transgender, inters*x, and cisgender women whose natural biological variations fall outside narrow definitions of s*x.

S*x is not binary. Reducing eligibility to a single genetic marker ignores scientific complexity and reinforces exclusion.

We are concerned that this policy:
• Invades athletes’ privacy and dignity
• Disproportionately targets women
• Reinforces harmful control over women’s bodies

Fairness in sport must go beyond exclusion. It must prioritize equity, inclusion, and respect for all athletes.

We call on the IOC to suspend this policy, engage with experts and affected communities, and adopt inclusive, evidence-based standards.

Sport must remain a space of dignity, not discrimination.

We’ve heard the stories.
Now it’s time to question them.

Beyond fear, beyond bias, beyond everything we were taught to believe… there are real people. Living. Loving. Existing.

Queerness is not new.
It is not unnatural.
It is not a mistake.

What is real?
Courage. Truth. Humanity.

The world doesn’t change by silence.
It changes when we choose empathy over assumption, and love over fear.

This is more than a conversation.
It’s a call to unlearn, to understand, and to stand for dignity.

Because everyone deserves to exist freely. No exceptions.

Respect starts with how we see others—with dignity, with empathy, and with humanity.

A truly healthy community is built when everyone feels valued, heard, and safe. No exceptions.
