World YMCA Secretary General Carlos Sanvee opened Monday's online discussion, where approximately 100 people from across the YMCA Movement came together to discuss the crisis in the Middle East.

Colleagues from The East Jerusalem YMCA, YMCA Jordan and YMCA Lebanon shared the realities on the ground, alongside the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. In Lebanon, the crisis has resulted in 850 dead and over 850,000 displaced. YMCA Lebanon has launched a $200,000 emergency humanitarian appeal to provide immediate relief and psychological support.
