Today, the Ibom Open Maternity (IOM) Project team, led by the Director of Carelife Character Foundation, Dr. Aniekeme George, paid a supervisory visit to IOM project sites in Esit Eket and Ibeno LGAs.

The delegation included the Executive Secretary, Akwa Ibom State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Eno Attah, the Chairman, House Committee on Health, Hon. Moses Essien Chairpersons of Esit Eket and Ibeno LGAs, Hon. Mrs. Uduak Ikemesit Ikot and Hon. Mrs. Glory Ekah Effiong, the CEO of ECEWS, Dr. Andy Eyo, representatives of Golden Initiative For All - GIFA, and other key dignitaries, state leads, implementing partners and stakeholders.

The team toured the facilities, reviewed ongoing service delivery, engaged with healthcare teams and beneficiaries, and assessed progress as the project builds momentum towards its Grand finale on Friday.

A shared commitment, a growing impact, and one message at the heart of it all: We are here for every mother and child.

It's Day 5 of the Ibom Open Maternity (IOM) Project, and the medical mission arrives in Ikot Abasi LGA!

Another large crowd of beneficiaries has defied the rain, turning out in their numbers to access the quality, integrated healthcare services offered through the IOM Medical Mission. Their resilience reflects the importance of bringing essential healthcare closer to the communities that need it most.
