World Cancer Day 2026 and every story matters. This year’s theme, “United by Unique”, reminds us: Cancer touches us all differently, but we’re stronger together.

Did you know?
- Globally, 20 million people are diagnosed with cancer each year that’s one new case every 16 seconds.
- 9.7 million lives are lost annually, a life gone roughly every 3 seconds.
- By 2050, new cases could surge to 35 million if we don’t act.
- Breast cancer tops incidence in women (133,600 cases), but cervical cancer causes the most deaths in many countries.

Our Nursery 2 learners at WISE 2 had a fun discussion about "Good Health and Well-being" SDG3

They learnt that good health means taking care of our bodies and minds. Just like how we wash our hands to stay clean, we need to eat nutritious food, exercise regularly, and get enough sleep to stay healthy!

They also discovered that well-being means feeling happy and strong inside. When we're kind to ourselves and others, we feel good and happy!

What is POVERTY?
How can we reduce POVERTY?
Poverty means not having enough money,food , clothes and safe places to live
We can reduce poverty by:
1. creating a school club to create awareness about poverty
2. Donating to poverty relief organization.
3 . Visiting local orphanage
4. Mentoring students on hard works on their studies
5. creating support for local businesses

Pre- nursery super stars aim this year is HEALTH is WEALTH. Ensure you eat fruit every day to stay strong and healthy. If you can't eat the fruit one at a time, you can as well turn it to smoothy like we did to our orange 🍊. Always wash your fruit with a clean water 💦 before eating.
