An eventful new year and Happy Birthday to me.
I sincerely thank Almighty God for my life and the privilege of seeing another year. I’m standing this tall, strong and healthy because of the Lord’s mercies and grace. Also thank my family, friends and well-wishers for the love and support they’ve shown me all through the way.
Being a warrior has not been an easy journey, but through it all, I come out even stronger.
At every stage all through this year 2022 and in years to come, I am willing and available to hold hands with:
• fellow warriors,
• Their caregiver; and
• parents.
Dear warriors,
Hold on and hold out, don’t give up. I feel and know your pain and the challenges of living with Sickle Cell (SCD). Knowledge, love and determination will help you conquer it all. I am inviting Warriors and their parents, caregivers and people who are interested in the welfare of SCD victims to like our page on:
• Facebook: Eyum Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation.

If awareness is not created now, if not by us, when and who will?
Dear Warriors, I know and understand that in a moment your life is beautiful and the next minute Pain pops up, the stigmatization, lack of awareness and ignorance of the society.
But hey! Don’t give up. It’s okay to stop, pout and even cry sometimes but always dust yourself and get back up. You are greater than your challenges.
I love you and you are not alone!
