Center for Internet, Communications and Technology Advocacy CICTA supports policies that advance free and open competition, promotes a highly educated and technical workforce and encourage collaboration in Tech.

The information revolution is remaking the world — transforming the ways we communicate, associate, innovate, and create wealth. These changes are forcing policymakers to rethink outdated concepts and develop new approaches to public policy, from regulation and innovation to civil liberties and national security. Centre for Internet, Communication and Technology Advocacy (CICTA) was created in 201

6 to support policies that advance free and open competition, promote a highly educated and technical workforce, encourage collaboration and cooperation in ideas and technology, and advance regulations that positively impact the ability of the technology sector to effectively research, develop, integrate, manufacture, service and freely sell solutions in the global marketplace. The centre’s work focuses on these main policy areas: Education, Privacy, Cyber Security, Broadband and Telecommunication, Intellectual Property, New and Emerging Technology, Procurement, Tax as well as Global Trade and Market Access.
