We are strong advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Nigeria and collaborate with various organizations to help Nigeria meet up with its SDG obligations. Helpline Foundation operates under the leadership of a Board of Directors and its founder, Dr. (Mrs.) Jumai Ahmadu who coordinates the activities of staff and volunteers towards achieving the NGO's objectives. We are open to partnerships and collaborations that would improve the lives of vulnerable people and make our world a better place.

In commemoration of International Widows’ Day 2025, Helpline Social Support Initiative (HSSI) hosted a transformative event themed "Empowering Widows: Building Resilience, Restoring Dignity" on Sunday, 22nd June, 2025.
It was an impactful day dedicated to recognizing the strength and struggles of widows, while advancing efforts that promote their well-being, financial independence, and social inclusion.
A heartfelt appreciation to the Honorable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, for her tremendous support. Her generous cash gifts to each women cluster have provided vital resources for skill acquisition and financial empowerment.
We are also deeply grateful to the FCT Health Insurance Scheme and its Ag.Director, Dr. Salamatu Belgore, who, along with her team, enrolled all participating widows into the free health insurance scheme, ensuring access to quality healthcare.
Special thanks to all friends and partners of the Helpline Social Support Initiative President, Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, whose unwavering support made this event a true success.

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Helpline Social Support Initiatives proudly launched its skill acquisition centre for women in Bwari Area Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This milestone event, aimed at empowering women with practical skills for economic independence, was made possible through the generous support of the RTA Foundation.
The newly established centre is equipped with essential machinery for cassava processing into garri, as well as baking tools and other culinary equipment, ensuring that women in the community have access to practical training that will enhance their livelihoods.
By providing these resources, Helpline Social Support Initiatives is fostering self-reliance and entrepreneurship among women, reinforcing the significance of skill acquisition in economic empowerment.

Helpline foundation is aimed at Building a Nigeria where all vulnerable children, youths and women (especially the widows) have access to quality health care, education and equal opportunities to realize their potentials.
Aims and Objectives
To care and support orphans and vulnerable children in the society through various developmental initiatives
To carry out mobilization and sensitization against child labor in collaboration with other organizations like NATIP, NACRAN, UNICEF
To give support and encourage education through scholarships, donation of educational materials and renovation of classroom blocks for children to compete with other children in the society
To develop independent mind in children through the introduction of technical education that will encourage multi purposes activities and prepare them for future empowerment
To partner with other organization to improve the standard of health of orphans and vulnerable children in the country through initiatives that provides interventions in this regard
To empower the less privileged through the provision of micro credit scheme especially for women and Youth. Economic strengthening is the key to Poverty alleviation, hence our emphasis on micro credit scheme for the less privileged as well as grants is to help them facilitate small scale business to become self-reliant.
