Criminology Students Society of Nigeria (CSSN) is both national and interna

tional organization whose members pursue scholarly, scientific and professional knowledge concerning the measurement, etiology, consequences, prevention, control, and treatment of crime and delinquency; and to complement the Government’s efforts in breeding a new crop of criminologists in our society. The Society provides an excellent avenue to learn about various career opportunities in the criminal justice system, law, and various community justice agencies. You will meet other criminology students and specialist.

As the esteemed late Professor Jaja aptly posited, the possession of 'criminological eyes' enables Criminologists to perceive, prognosticate, and depict scenarios with a heightened degree of accuracy, thereby epitomizing the true essence of a Criminologist.

Notwithstanding, the discipline of Criminology in Nigeria remains in a nascent state, oscillating precariously between the realms of Law, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, and Security Studies (Political Science), inter alia.

Consequently, one is compelled to inquire:

How criminologically inclined are you?

What is the scope of your criminological perspective?

Do you possess a disposition that is incisive and critically evaluative, or perhaps, deleteriously corrosive?
