𝘞𝘩𝘒𝘡 𝘏𝘒𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘡𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘳 𝘐𝘴 𝘈𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦π˜₯?

NiNAS has just concluded its peer evaluation, conducted by a team of expert peer evaluators appointed by the African Accreditation Cooperation AFRAC.

A peer evaluation is an independent assessment of an accreditation body by experienced professionals from other internationally recognised accreditation bodies. Over the course of this exercise, the AFRAC team carried out a broad range of technical and management activities to assess NiNAS against internationally recognised requirements.

This matters because confidence in accredited laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies, and validation and verification bodies begins with confidence in the accreditation body itself. It is also the basis upon which regional and international accreditation cooperations determine an accreditation body’s eligibility for Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs) and Multilateral Recognition Arrangements (MLAs), enabling accredited results and certificates to be accepted across borders and supporting international trade.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the AFRAC Peer Evaluation Team, our stakeholders, and the entire NiNAS team.

When the accreditor is trusted, the entire quality ecosystem is strengthened.
