I'm tired of crying

My people, I’m pained as I type this.

Last night, thieves broke into our orphanage home. They came through the kitchen window and carried away the foodstuff that kind people donated for our children to eat.

What kind of conscience does a person have to steal from orphans? To take food out of the mouths of children who are already vulnerable?

But I want you all to know this: They will NEVER go unpunished.

Unless I am not serving a Living God, God will judge them. The same God who sees the fatherless and defends the widow is watching.

You cannot steal what was meant for orphans and walk free. God will punish them in their own coin. Every grain of food they took will trouble them.

We are hurt, yes. But we are not hopeless. The Lord who provides for these children will not let them starve. He will raise helpers and restore all that was stolen.

Please keep our children in your prayers. And if God lays it in your heart to help us restock, we will be grateful.

But to those thieves: God saw you. And God will answer.

- Substance abuse or addiction: Parents struggling with addiction may prioritize their needs over their children's.

These factors often intersect and exacerbate each other, making it harder for parents to care for their children 😔.
